There is no "I am the Senate" track.

That was a fabrication a couple of weeks ago where somone posted a Shodows of the Empire track and claimed it was from the Episode 3 score.

Walmart has the exclusive interview with Williams, and Target has an MP3 version of the "Battle of Heroes" already available on the DVD.

You dont miss anything interesting if you dont get your discs from Target or Walmart.

So, are the DVD cased versions coming out later in an attempt to trick me into buying 2 copies?

They actually said that at Celebration III's opening ceremonies during the set up to play some clips from the DVD.

This site has pics from the movie, also alternate CD covers and Pics from the DVD listed under the Revenge of the Sith heading at the top of the page.

I got my soundtrack today. No bonus track on the disc, no mention of it on the cover/booklet.

Yeah. I got mine at Wal-Mart for the $14.whatever price and no friggin' bonus anything except for the John Williams interview download. I should have just saved a couple of bucks by going to Target.

If I remember correctly, they said that you would have the choice of purchasing the soundtrack in a jewel case or a DVD case that would fit nicely with last October's SW DVD release.

Two videos have been posted at jwfan.net. Not great quality, but good enough so you get the idea. I was hoping for some Episode 3 footage in the Duel of the Fates video. Can't wait to pick this DVD up this weekend.

The Target download is a WMV version of bigmike's track.

I'll gladly pay a little bit more for it so that none of my money goes to Wal-Mart.

There's some E III footage in some of the other videos, like Vader's redemption or whatever but it's really brief and nothing new.. just clarifying :)

What I'm wondering is : where is this $11.88 puppy Wal*Mart has? The website has it for that price, but at the local store, its going for $13.88. Regardless, its still worth it for the dvd. This info that WMP 10 has on the cd is seriously fucked up, but I couldn't care less, since I'll be replacing my 128 files with better rips off the cd anyway.

You do know the DVD comes with the soundtrack anywhere you buy it, right?

Absolutely, been aware of that since its announcement. Just saying that even at 14 bucks, the soundtrack is worth it with the dvd bonus.

BTW, just finished the dvd, it rocks! :chewbacca:

Ok so how many exclusives are there?

iTunes - Battle of the Heroes + Dialogue
Target - Battle of the Heroes + Dialogue & Effects
Walmart - John Williams Interview

Is that everything? Also, has it been confirmed that the iTunes exclusive from last week is identical to the Target exclusive?

The iTunes and Target exclusives are the same.

Love the DVD. It's very cool to see through images and music how the prequels and the OT tie together.

When I watch any film I play the whole thing. I dont think I've ever used the chapter skip function on any of my DVD's. I can't get invested in a movie if I dont see it all.

Oh I'm not slamming your choice.

I just cant get into a movie if I dont see the whole thing, even the ones I've seen many times. I'm just wired that way I guess.

The iTunes confusion comes from the fact that iTunes said that they had something similar to the Target exclusive, but then yanked it.

One gripe about this DVD - shouldn't it be "The planet it's farthest from"?

Probably Lucasfilm. It's their own script and they couldn't copy it right. Luke says "it's" in SW.

Forgive me if i'm wrong (you are an English teacher) but I think it is a paraphrase anyway, and a fragment at that, and is intentional, and correct in its own usage. (Don't even get me started at the incorrectness of that sentence)

A Planet that is farthest from (implied: the bright center of the galaxy).

Fuzzy, that cover looks really good, but what the fuck is up with the compression, it's terrible.

No one here could print that out and use it cause it would look like ass. Can you post a higher res image? I say that because I really want to use it for a DVD cover  And I'm really anal about print quality.

The Target track is a radio mix and is audio (words and music) from the Battle of the Heroes music video called A Hero Falls from the DVD.

There was a thread here that had the file called "Battle of the Heroes - Dialogue and Sound Effect Mix.mp3" which should still be available via a youshareit link.

If not, get it below

http://s50.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0GKC88D79I8420K8II4KA6USKQ

-------

The Walmart track is an audio commentary by John Williams. It's pretty cool; check it out below:

As always, please provide mirrors. Thank you.

It leaked back on the April 25th. Here's the thread. It was on page 3.

http://www.millenniumfalcon.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4136&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

The links in the above thread are probably all dead, but the radio edit spoken about in the thread is the EXACT same thing as the Target bonus track.
