Hmm no support for HD-DVD or blu ray?

Wonder what the PS3 and Revolution is going to pack.

has there been any previous discussion about price? if i remember, Xbox was like 350 when it first came out, and this one seems likes its gonna be a PCish machine, so i could imagine it being pretty costly, at least for the first year.

Blu-ray/HD-DVD war is apparemtly over and both sony and toshiba are going to be working together to make a new format. So the PS3 Blu-ray drive is up in the air.

As of now I don't see Sony catching up to Microsoft, who seem to have the 360 well under way.

IIRC, it's a single three core PowerPC proc. That would be one chip with three processing units on it. Not quite "three processors", just triple cored. But those screens look delicious. Almost makes me wish I was a gamer.

Well, technically it could even be a dual-core PowerPC variant and a GPU, which would make a "three processor" machine. I'm just seriously doubting that it's actually three separate processors. But that (like everyone else's info at this point) is just speculation.

Be very wary of those screenshots. None are in game - remember that PS2 Cell Processor demo that showed of that nice face of a woman? Out of all those screenshots, the demon impresses the most. But then again, it'll be using every ounce of power that thing has to render it.

That's one fucking interesting console. I'm still waiting for what PS3's gonna pull off though. And Nintendo? After reading they decided NOT to show their Revolution at E3 because "they might copy their innovative ideas" I knew it for sure: FUCK Nintendo. Please go bankrupt, asap. GameCube will be the very last Ninty console I'll lay hands on until somebody slaps some sense into that bitch Saturo Iwata.

Gimme a break will ya. You're really, really blind if you don't see Nintendo's mistakes. Ever since Hiroshi Yamauchi resigned, the company's gone downhill. Now don't get me wrong, I still love them as a game developer, only their view on the market is absurd.

If they'd let go of the innovativness and actually made a multimedia console that had graphical capabilities to pop your eyes out of your fucking sockets, Nintendo would completely redeem their reputation as once undisputed King of the Videogame Industry.

So far, X36 has what I wanted in a console. Built-in WiFi, standard wireless controllers, built-in hard disk, standard dvd-playback etc. I have yet to see what PS3 will offer next week at E3 though.

Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and a few Star Wars games will sell me any system. I just hope they are good with this next Nintendo.

My friends buy all the systems and I play them a lot, so I hope they are all good.

I think that port is either the usb port, or the wireless sensor, someone told me that ALL the controlers are wireless.

I have a couple of the wavebird controllers for Gamecube. If the xbox 360's controllers control even nearly as good as the wavebirds, then the 360 will have a much bigger leg up on either competitors. My question is will they include a rumble feature in their controllers. The wavebird does not have rumble, and it can sometimes get annoying when you need rumble to find certain items in a game.

Yeah the xbox's rumble is good, but maybe I didn't make myself clear in the last post. I was just wondering if the wireless xbox controllers will have rumble. The Gamecube's wireless controllers don't, and it can be annoying at times even though the wireless freedom is great. It would be a shame if the xbox's wireless controllers didn't have rumble.

I wa hoping to see what Nintendo will be bringing to the table... Xbox 360 is cool looking, but it just an Xbox with better specs, nothing new to gaming... I will either buy the 360 and the Revolution, or the Revolution and an Xbox 1 or just an Xbox 1 (I want to play Halo 1 and 2)
