For those who care, the UK rating for ROTS is 12A. They list the running time as 139 minutes, as well.

That's as official (for the running time) as it gets. 12A was not unexpected. Good to see it was passed uncut as well. Running time approx 139 minutes, 59 secs. :)

As i can see in my cinema ticken in spain the movie is "for all audiences", equivalent to PG i think.

It got an M rating here in Australia for two scenes in particular. Anakin's lava bath and the Jedi temple massacre.

I find it cool that a Star Wars movie gets an M. :heavymetal:

What's 12A stand for? Ages 12 and up? If so, I guess that similar to the US's PG-13. And the Aussie's M would be kind of similar to the US's "mature" rating on video games which is usually for age 17 and older. So all in all, just be cautious taking your young ones for it may be a little scary for them.

well an M rating here means "mature audiences", usually kids 15 and under have to be accompanied by an adult.

12A means those under 12 must have an adult (i.e. 18+) with them

As ElPaw says. I think the A in 12A stands for Accompanied; as in anyone under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when seeing the film.
