I've heard that as well.

Perhaps some new footage will surface.

They will definitely play something related to Episode III towards the end of the interview as usual, unless he's promoting something else.

I saw him in GQ. I kinda feel bad for actors. I would feel really ridiculous posing all femmish in trendy clothes like that. I guess it's just part of the job...

I used to think Conan sucked. But after actually sitting down to watch his show I think he is better than both Letterman and Leno. And nothing beats those Walker Texas Ranger clips...rock on Conan :heavymetal: .

The first time I watched Conan he had his Walker clips on.
Walker sniffs the dirt, takes a taste, and says "A plane crashed here".

Mayor Bloomberg is trying to get NBC to move the show back to New York.

You're forgetting one thing: Bloomberg won't be mayor by 2009 so by then his words won't mean shit. :)

Just saw him on TRL, they showed an extended clip of the 60 minutes Obi-Wan vs Anakin where they're twirling their sabers and force pushing each other... It was only a little longer, like 20 second clip, lol. But it was cool.

Let's just hope that Leno doesn't accidentally drop the Mustafar Anakin action figure and spoil Anakin's injuries in THIS movie.

Preach it! I've had a hard time deciphering the enigma that has become MTV. But your words would make a fitting tombstone for the channel that is neither quality television nor music.

Anyways, I know Hayden and other celebs are contract obligated to appear on dung heap shows like TRL. Damned if I wouldn't be fighting tooth and nail not to be on that goddamn show.

And I think 12-18 yr old girls should be allowed neither access to their parents' money or to any television studio. Period.

And without looking totally stupid - Lucas is promoting the film to the younger people, has an "agreement" with MTV/TRL for the Skywalker gig and Christensen is the paper-doll this year.
Why suprised?

As long as there are 12-18 year old boys spending their parents' money on useless things, Star Wars will exist.

Both statements are true - from a certain point of view. :)

I was in the studio audience with my fiancee when Hayden was on Leno right before Episode II. During the interview Jay pulled out an Anakin figure and started waving it around and playing with it. At one point, the arm of the toy flies off and Hayden says quickly, trying to cover it up "How did that happen? That toy must have been defective. Weird" and Jay responds with "The toy wasn't broken. You get your arm cut off in the movie!"
My fiancee was completely spoiler free before that, all she knew was the title of the movie. I've never seen her so angry, I feared for Leno's life.

Conan is king of late night talk shows. Only guy who rivals him in the talk show comedy I think is Jon Stewart. I hope when Conan takes over the Tonight Show, they don't tone him down. :(

Thanks. :) I'm uploading another one.

BTW do you have the full interview? I'd like to see that.

So did anyone happen to record the whole thing? I really wanted to watch, but this whole working third shift thing is messing with my Star Wars plans.
Damn, I knew I should've bought Tivo before the TV Star Wars surge, even though I don't really like Leno.

Cool clip though. Thanks. :)

I recorded the entire interview, it will have to be broken into two parts, since the version of the dvd ripper is only a trial, and I can only burn 5 minutes of the dvd.

If it's on DVD, I usually just use DVD decrypter/Auto Gordian Knight Combo to get the files off the DVD and turn them into Divx file, which is usually pretty small and still decent quality. The programs are top notch and completely free. You can convert a whole two hour movie in a few hours very easiy.

Everything you need is here: DVD to Divx guide

Was the interview good enough to bother posting? I'd like to see it, but if it's nothing special, don't waste your time. Though even if it's sub-par, I'll still take anything Star Wars related. ;)

Its not a bad interview. There were two parts. When Hayden first came on, the both of them talked bullshit, non Star Wars stuff. Then after the commercial break they talked ROTS, and that is the part I am going to post. It's Leno, so you can figure just how goofy the interview is.

I wouldn't use the word goofy. It was more idiotic than anything. Hayden seemed to be in a pissy mood, like he was tired of talking about Episode III. And you couldn't tell if Leno was serious or joking most of the time. And why would he have trouble pronouncing the word Sith? It's not Sthith it's just Sith. You know I used to like Leno a lot, and this interview cemented how much of a retard he can be. If you're going to be serious, be serious all the way through. If you're going to be goofy, make the switch and stay that way.

Hayden was stammering a lot. Um....Um..., maybe he was nervous, which is understandable since he hasn't really done anything big except Star Wars. Hopefully as his career blosums, he will become a better public speaker and be more calm and less nervous.

Here is only the ROTS part of the interview. I had to piece some of it together, so there are two little blemishes in there. Enjoy.

I love the look on Anakins face after he punches ObiWan. The "You Son-of-a-Bitch" look.

My friend and I went to the show. It was a lot of fun. I live about 5 min. from the studio, so it's not like I have to go too far out of my way. I did wait outside for a few hours to secure a decent seat though. I was surprised by the lack of Star Wars fans (the people from the line at the Chinese) in the audience, but maybe they went in low profile. lol

The only things I have new for you are the commercial break stuff and the waiting for Hayden to leave afterward stuff. During commercial breaks Hayden waved and smiled at the audience a lot 'cause there were a lot of girls screaming for him. Telling him they love him and that he's hot, which he is, but how often does he probably hear all that. One girl in particular had a red t-shirt that said "I love Hayden Christensen".

After the show we walked around the side where everyone drives out and waited for him. There were a lot of professional autograph hounds/sellers already outside which was expected, but still irritating. At first I had my camera and a couple things to sign but we waited a while and I thought maybe he had left so I brought my stuff back to the car like an idiot. Then we hear the girls screaming, etc. So I rushed back over there without my camera *sigh* but still with my TV Guide for him to sign. There were a lot of young girls freaking out..."He touched me!!!", etc. and of course the usual suspects of autograph hounds that just DO NOT LEAVE, but I still got my TV Guide signed (the one with just Hayden, where Anakin turns into Vader).

All in all I was happy, the show was good, got his autograph and I'm trying not to beat myself up over putting my camera away.
