I wonder if the OS will do something about this, like post a nice version since the net is flooded with bootlegs.

It would be nice to see a clean clear quicktime version on the OS, but I doubt it will happen..but theres a slight chance

So I have to ask...what happened to Yoda beheading the clones? It looks cut...the edit there is really odd.

I thought the same thing. I think it was just supposed to be a tease shot . . . you can see Yoda is about to kick some ass, but then it quick cuts away. Of course, we all know what's going to happen.

Maybe GL just wanted to save that kickass moment for the film. But the cut is sorta strange, like they lopped it off at the last minute.

The opening battle really seems like its going to be one of the most amazing battles in the series. I know thats been said over and over again but I was skeptical, even through the trailers(which only showed seconds of the battle), until I saw this. I have to say it looks intense!

Some people at TFN at least claim to have been there and seen the actual beheading shot. I doubt there would be more than one version...

Nigel?

TFN is a sinkhole filled with improper claims such as that. Its filled with a ton of 12 years old and people who act like 12 years olds and a bunch of people who, whenever you create a thread that there may have been one similar thread that hasn't been touched in 12 months, keep on saying 'this thread will be locked in 10,9, 8..'. I hardly ever touch their forums anymore.

Not every member there is an idiot. The person I am referring to should have no reason to lie...I'd like to know what Nigel says about this scene.

Ric Olie was rather pointless, just like a lot of TPM and even a bit of AOTC(the stupid reactions of cereatures during the speeder chase)

There was a couple people who I usually listened to over there, can't remember their names..who were usually the intelligent ones in the 900 page discussion(a.k.a argument) on whether or not there were going to be changes on the OT dvds. SO I agree, not everybody over there is a complete jackass.

Apparently the Yoda beheading the CloneTrooper scene was accidently cut out in Rusty's version.

So everybody knows, I was at the Celebration, and when we watched it, you could see Yoda cutting off one of the clonetroopers head... it was real quick, but it was obvious, so when I watched this footage, I asked myself why it wasnt in there... some sort of glitch i guess when whoever first put this footage on here put it on a computer...

I dont know... needless to say, i was there, he does cut of at least one of their heads... and this movie will own us for quite some time...

I have been reading through this, and there have been alot of people knocking the music that played over this footage. You have to believe me on this one, when that violin kicked in as Anakin was in the Jedi Council room, and then you saw Padme looking at the Jedi tower... all the footage accompanied to that music...

Everyone in that theatre had chills... It was unbelievable, and the music was pretty kick ass. The speakers shook the whole room... Oh man, wait till you see this stuff in person, its cool on a computer, but it will make you crap your pants on a screen. Do your best to go to a digital theatre for it.

2 things..

For one, that they didnt use Star Wars music is kinda unforgiving and really an odd choice...

Anyone noticed that they digitially removed Vaders hands from the upright position to back down, when the table lifts him up?

I swear its a tiny sheep nitpick but im so glad they fixed that. Haydens little hands really looked silly...:)

When I saw it, they said it was in their music archives, apparently as something that was going to be used in a film and wasn't. It was SW music from a certain point of view, I guess.

I think his hands are actually moved along the table by mechanical cuffs that slide from the up position to the down position as the table is tilted.

EDIT: Or the hands slide down after the table is raised. lol All I'm saying is I think his hands go from up to down at some point.

It looks like the exact same shot from the teaser though minus the hands. It's not like he tilts up in that way twice.

I remember walking out of the theatre and alot of people, including myself and the ones i was with, were humming the song, and asking if they could find it online... wishing it could have been in the movie...

It was really strong, lots of bass, and when that violin starts in, its a moving part... I for one wish that it could find its place in some capacity on the film (though no need to debate or yell at me because i kow it wont), or wish i could find it and download it... I think you had to be in the theatre to get the real idea of how powerful the music actually was, and it fit to the clips perfectly...

Nope. They said its been changed, officially.

I didnt think the music was bad at all. It was rather interesting seeing all those images without sound and a diff, less melodic score...

it def made the footage a lot darker...

By the time you finish reading this sentence, the following link will be dead ;) :

Code:

The link's for the 90 Mb .mpg version. Wish I could have posted more YSI links, but that one alone took a fucking long time to upload. That, plus 65 Mb's and 5 hours later on BT and I feel I've contributed enough for one night.

To RustyMuffler and everyone else on MF who shared this, you :heavymetal:

Hey, I'm coming back to the campus compy later tonight, just let me know if you guys want me to throw up another link or two. I will gladly help. BTW, this the perfect climax to the prequels, if we would've saw this type of stuff in TPM, what would be the point of another three movies? Just seeing Palps throwing force lightning at Mace was pure, unadulterated ownage. :heavymetal2:
