If you need the footage. I've got some YouSendIt links.

PM me if you still need it.

And please, don't whore around the links to other underserving people. ;) I hate when I PM three people and suddenly my whole 25 stash vanishes.

Great stuff though. Yoda getting OWNED . . . my favorite by far.

YSI = You Send It (Share It) files

I like that Alderaan has more air-traffic than most planets we´ve seen in the movies. I guess this is a recurring theme with Core Worlds. :)

That was my exact reaction after seeing the footage at C3: "I need to change my underwear." Then I saw it again: "I'm glad I didn't bother changing my underwear last time."

Amazing footage, too bad that theres a bunch of heads covering half the screen. And its quite dark, and would feel better with Battle of Heroes or some sort of piece of score from Star Wars. I'm thinking about making one, but it would be pointless for me to do it as I'm about ready to give up on YSI

and Palps without the hood, as posted earlier... unreal.

I think this underlines the statement, "go out with a bang."

It also gives great new meaning to Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, when Yoda says, "Luke, do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor."

Oh yeah, and the part where Ki Adi Mundi turns around to face the traitorous clonetroopers....I got chills there too....

That is very true. From the scenes I've seen in the footage from Mcallum, this movie is going to be freakin' awesome.

Yoda flinging Sidious' lightning back at him to knock the shit out of him will go down as one of, if not the most kickass move in the SW Saga.

Obi-Wan's maneuver in the arena in AOTC is the only other maneuver I can think of that is close.

I guess you guys are missing when Yoda gives palps a good dose of his own medicine. It seems that based on the novel and the script and now these clips that when it's a fair fight Yoda has the upper hand period. Palps just gets lucky with both Mace and Yoda.

The more clips I see, the more excited I'm getting about the yoda/palps fight. The CIII footage of the fight was just fucking amazing. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that yoda getting owned and palps getting the tables turned will get wild cheers and gasps from the midnight audience.

And I love the look on the emporer's face as his lightning comes back at him. It's that perfect shocked, "oh shit!" look.

There's going to be so many good parts in this one, but that fight could take the cake.

And my god, the visuals in this clip are just amazing. Way ahead of Attack of the Clones. Too bad we couldn't hear the sound f/x and dialogue, but judging just by the visuals this is looking better and better every day.

(PM me if you still need the footage)

Ian McDiarmid rules. His Palpatine is pure evil. Owns the PT. He's the goddamn Wicked Witch Of The West. His saber up the sleeve trick (both pre- and post-transformation) is right out of Taxi Driver.

Even Samuel Jackson looks like he decided not to phone it in this time.

The fucking Wheel Bike. The Magna Guards. Ani and Obi breaking off the fight to dodge falling lava. Obi-Wan period. Anakin choking him. The Naboo Queen with ceremonial teardrops. Jar Jar's head sinking into lava (ok I just imagined that one.)

O.K., that rocked.

See, now that's how you present a Star Wars prequel movie:
First you turn the volume all the way down so you can't hear the cheesy, wooden, stilted dialogue, and then you take out all those stupid, idtiotic, unfunny scenes of wacky shtick, and then you just blast music over the whole thing, and it actually looks freakin' cool. If you just did that for 90 minutes, and had Ian McDiarmid say a few lines, I'd pay $20 bucks to see it.
Ian McDiarmid rocks. He's a fuckin' badass just standing there. Ian McDiarmid is channelling all the acting that was supposed to be in the prequels over the last 6 years. Everyone else eats shit by comparison.

This is what the prequels were designed for. Not subtlely, not acting and execution, just 8 billion ship flybys, lightsabers and a supertanker dumping consumer products from one end of the Earth to the other. Next it's on to TV to sell long distance service.

I'm sorry, but when I see stuff that looks this cool, it actually makes me angry at just how much of a missed opportunity the prequels were. They should've shown up and owned so much shit that everyone else just gave up making movies and went home. But you take out enough of the crap that makes them suck in the first place and you see that Star Wars is still in there... fuck. But, cool.

Thanks for the link, you-know-who. You're the man.

And YES I'm going to see the movie, I have my midnight tickets and all that so shut the fuck up.

I'm going to the dark side.

_Mike

W.O.W. :o

This looks more epic and transcendant than any of the prequels. The scale shown in some of those shots - like the funeral procession and some of the Clone Trooper scenes - is amazing. Yoda's facial cues are amazing. It's all amazing. The looks of disbelief, saddness, and retrospective guilt on everyone's faces are perfect. The tone of the movie seems just right to me from the glimpses we've been given so far. Sad, dark, epic, galaxy-changing, and utterly evil.

I'm making three ysi mirrors.

I dunno Mike. I watched ESB the other day and in many respects it's just a steaming pile. Just as "bad" as the prequels IMO. But the movie is still insanely cool and fun to watch. Sort of the Star Wars paradox. ;)

But back on topic...I still can't believe what a visual leap this movie seems to be over the last two.

Yeah there are gay, and they come from a gay movie as well,Van Helsing. They should have used Battle of Heroes or some kind of combined medley of the Ep. 3 music.
