In the tragedy tv spot when Padme says "Anakin! You're breaking my heart!" It's just wierd. And When Anakin shouts "NO!" Again sounds a bit off. There's other stuff 2 but i wnt go into it. Just 2 me it sounds a bit...off. What do you think?

Well they got trainers in to help coach the actors, but the acting is never really down to the actors more what the director wants :| so it could be slightly off but once we see some kids getting it in the face we should be pretty happy

I think the Padme thing is dead-on perfect. I mean, she's very emotional, and it rings very true.

And as far as the "NO" shout at the end of that trailer, you have to think of it in context - Mace is about to kill the only guy in the galaxy that can help Anakin save his wife and kid (at the time he only thinks there is one). He's reacting quickly, screaming that and igniting his saber and chopping off Sam Jackson's hand.

And actually, to COUNTER your argument, the scenes with Anakin and Palpatine, and the quips of Obi-Wan about being 'on the run' make me think this one should be a notch above the other prequels.

That being said, the novelization I think makes an effort to 'apologize' for any of the clipped dialogue by the Jedi (esp. Mace Windu) by calling Obi-Wan's accent "clipped Coruscanti" as if there is a reason for this :)

Wrong forum to be asking these types of questions and making these types of posts. I think :gb2tfn: would be your best bet.

Bad acting in a Star Wars movie?

What a concept!
