If that's smaller than the GL interview, then putting up the sneak peek footage might be faster.

Hahaha...now you see what took me so long to do my stuff. Not to mention that I had to search through five hours of footage for it all, and deal with sound sync issues.

As far as the file size goes I have no clue. How long is it? What about something like divx?

Not to be lame but is the GL thing that much better over the actual film footage? It seems to me like that would be what everyone would want. Especially after listening to the GL audio...

Shit...this would be a good time to put it aside and get the completed footage out. After Effects is a much better compression engine, so I or someone could run it through for you while you work on the good stuff.

Compressing in Avi is always faster and a far smaller file size when i use Premiere, maybe try that.

Use the same dimensions but .avi,you should end up with a file 1/4 the size of that .mov file.

Not the best option I know but just to get it out there would it be worth cutting it up into smaller sections?
Easier to D/L and then people can put it together if they want at their leisure.

Personally I'd be happy to D/L 3 smaller files than 1 big one.

i just thought that HS is gonna get screwed on this one. LFL will probably be miffed when that footage goes up, but there isn't much they can do. if they did put it up on HS however, even in edited form, then it would make a lot more trouble for us...but then easier for us to 'borrow' and then have PM's flying left & right.

I am a member of the media and attended CIII on Saturday. I was videoing Rick McCallum and then they gave the warning to kill the video and audio recordings because they were going to show the footage.

We sat through it. We were in the second row setting next to other media types and we could feel the wind off the speakers...the music was that loud and it was thumping that much.

A question later identified the music as not something from John Williams.

The footage was awesome and it looked beautiful in digital.

McCallum came back and talked and then introduced a couple of people who worked on the film and showed a clip of animatics, which was honestly as cool or more so than the actual footage.

Finally after taking some questions he asked if anybody wanted to see it again, and then the lights were out and I was still holding my digicam in my lap.

I was going to turn it off, then tought ...lf..k it! I recorded the footage but it's at an angle.

I left it at home today or I would load it into my PC and send it to you. I could do it tomorrow.

It's pretty bad though.
