I've been thinking and I recall some time ago there was word floating around of an EU character what was set to be in Rots. I'm not sure if this was covered in another thread, or if this has just been ax'ed completely, but I am curious if there has been any sure word on just who the EU character is? I heard it was Quinlan Vos, but I am quite skeptical even though he was in TPM for a brief moment.

I hope you guys can help me out with this, and any help would be appreciated. If there's another thread that pretains to this, please do direct me to it. I thank you in advance...

As covered in the screenplay thread, it is indeed Vos

It was Quinlan Vos, as seen in the GN and the screenplay. However, according to the Making of book, the scene was never filmed. There's no way to know if they did it after the book's publication date, though.

Obi-Wan mentioned "Master Vos" in one of the Trivial Pursuit DVD clips.

Unless if I'm mistaken he's in the Order 66 montage.

That's what I suspected. I'm a bit sad that he doesn't have any actual dialouge, but it's cool that he's in the movie.

Wasn't Vos already a background extra in TPM?

The dark horse EU guys liked the look and turned him into a jedi if I remember right.

Quinlan's character design came from a background extra glimpsed in Episode I, during the Mos Espa sequence that introduces Sebulba. Quinlan has starred in several story arcs of the ongoing Star Wars comic series from Dark Horse Comics.
