I know I am. If it was just the DVD I'd be buying it, but the soundtrack itself? C'mon now. This thing is gold.

Plus, if you buy it at wal-mart, you get to download an exclusive track from starwars.com

I'm thinking maybe Yoda vs Sidious?

Whatever track that might be, it better NOT be shitty quality.

There's a file floating around out there sorry, I have no idea what its origin is but it's entitled I Am the Senate

I've heard it and it sounds like a Sith track with familiar themes can anyone shed light on this? Is it a fake or part of an extended soundtrack?

If it's fake, please accept my apologies...just sounds very much like a Sith track.

It is definitely fake and definitely from Nixon.

But it is still John Williams and still some quality music.

So will there be stores like Wal-Mart and the above mentioned Best Buy that will be offering different recordings with exclusive content? Oh great. Will this ever end? I noticed the Wal-Mart soundtrack says it has an "exclusive download," whatever that is.

PS Thanks to the person for making these available. I will be sending a CDR to my best friend in Iraq.

Goddamn, Neil. I also like how you act like this place is beneath you at your hidey-hole with the score geeks. Cute. Get the stick out of your ass.

Wi-Yi: I kinda hope the soundtrack DVD DOESN'T leak, to tell the truth.

don't get mad at Neil, you are hardly the first person to ever fall for one of my pranks on the internet, nor will you be the last.

Dipshit, I didn't FALL for your "prank." I noticed it, asked people to investigate it. I certainly didn't download your track, and the people who DID certainly didn't believe it was the real thing, as they automatically went "wait a minute." And told everyone here rather quickly that your "prank" was lazy horseshit. Hell, you can't even take the time to edit together 3 or 4 tracks to make it harder to recognize, you're just relabeling old soundtracks. Thats' weak sauce, at least put some fucking EFFORT into it.

For you to have sucessfully PRANKED someone you would have had to make them believe the shit you pulled was REAL.

You didn't do that.

You can't pat yourself on the back for being super-smooth funny liar guy if you didn't actually convince anyone worth a modicum of a shit. Just getting someone's attention doesn't mean you pranked them. You can't shout "FIRE" in a theater and then, when people look at you like an idiot for ACTING like an idiot, say "hah! I pranked you." Because no one believed you in the first place. Drawing attention to yourself in and of itself isn't a prank. I'm glad you got a boner from seeing something you did mentioned on another site, but that doesnt' mean you did anything worth a shit.

Just review scores for a living. You suck at the "humor" thing. Maybe the highbrow score snobs where you normally post are so devoid of humor that this dry bullshit actually passes for funny there, but most people here aren't mummified assholes wrapped in the tattered, yellowed pages of the score to Angela's Ashes.

I got you real good based on your response, and it was nothing personal, certainly not toward you or this entertaining board.
Whats totally funny is that you call me a dipshit, but you are the total asshole. What a fuckwad dickshit you are.

The funniest thing is you don't even know what the fuck you are talking about. You are so moronic that its almost sad. You accuse me of things that are so absurd its beyond funny. You attack me and my friends at our board, and call us devoid of humor but its your wiped ass that missed that boat.

For the record you dumb fuck, I didn't post any music, I am possibly the most low tech poster on any board. I don't download music to my computer, wouldn't know what to do with an I-pod, but I bet I am probably more versed in the original Star Wars, don't give me any of that A New Hope shit, and Lucas' fucking lies. I don't review scores for a living, but if I did, it would be better than your worthless drivel.

Thanks, and flame on.

Most normal people actually do prefer to have a properly wiped ass, you know. Not sure how that is supposed to be insulting to FB, or anyone else who doesn't like to walk with shit stuck in their crack. Then again maybe they do it different in your house.

It's cute, it's like he's still learning a new language :) I picture him fuming over at the score-site coffee klatch, getting pats on the back and reassurances from the other tightasses that he did the right thing and I'm a horrifically stupid person good show jolly chap right right scream fire in a theater again you sure tricked em ha ha luca$$ suxor williams man-goo dripping off my tonsils woo-hoo excelsior!

Amazing! That and 2 cents will buy you 2 cents worth of "I don't give a shit." Let me know next time you stick "Well versed in the original Star Wars" on a resume or a home loan. Because that's certainly something to treasure, innit? I know it's the first thing I trump up about myself when trying to assert my dominance over mankind.

I appreciate you're quoting my whole post just to update those who might have missed it initially, as to how neatly I pulled your fucking pants down, and I give you points for making up nonsensical cursewords and then using the word "Drivel" in the same post. Very well rounded. You're still a cock-chugging douchemouth that sucks at teh Internet. Just sit and wait patiently for real news to come to you, and I suggest curtailing any thoughts of branching out into having anything resembling a "personality." because it doesn't fit you well. at all. As evidenced by your "prank." hoooo-boy.

..

...fuckwad dickshit. That's adorable :)

weak, playing you is so simple, sure as one of your asskissers above says he's already to 2 posts and he's taking on fatboy Robert, I didn't seek out to take you on, you're just another youngster who thinks he's some shit. Your the one irritated that I posted a complete lie, that you fell for it, even though you don't have the balls to admit it, is evident in your post. I figured you tougher than that based on your name, anyone brave enough to admit to the world he's fat, thats a plus.

as for your imaginative comment about the home-loan, I'm sure to try it next time when I go to sell the one I have and buy another. Let me know how it works for you. You could on the otherhand put up your Star Wars figure collection as collateral, 'cause based on everything else I've read by you, its probably the most valuable thing you own.

Peace and contentment are yours.

PSzabo99, as if all of you people are above anyone else, please, this is a fine board, but its the same as any forum on the net, its just that you get to geek out on Star Wars.

As for John William's score, I think I can hang with any of you regarding the man's works. I've got 40 years of listening to his music, to back up any comments I make on the music.

unfortunately I've not posted any so here goes.

John's score sounds solid. Parts are very good to exceptional.

His end titles track is completely inappropriate for the series, it would have worked for Return of the Jedi, but not Revenge of the Sith. Despite that it is a fine piece of music blending several previous pieces. As a stand alone cue its is wonderful, it just doesn't have any business in this film.

Still this score is so much better than Attack of the Clones which was easily the worst Star Wars score( I hesitate to even call it a Star Wars score), and the worst JW score probably since the 80's. I sincerely hope that ROTS is a better film that AOtC to, which really shouldn't be hard. Williams was completely uninspired by it, I am anxious to hear the complete score for this final chapter of this weak trilogy.

and Rob, son I don't need to run to a coffee klatch as you say, don't drink the stuff, never have, thats your portland oregon showing, you on the other hand are just a series of cliche's, overused. Your need to express your phallic abilites would be better used on your michael jackson fantasies. now if you care to rip me for my comments on the score, please feel free. I'd say on first listen to fall around 4th best in the series, behind #1, Star Wars, #2, ESB, & #3, ROTJ.

It's impotence. If you're going to insult someone with your rapier wit, make sure you can spell.

ANYWAY... so far "Anakin's Betrayal" seems to pull the greatest weight with me. There's a lot of dialogue going on over that cue, and I like the dramatic shape he's carved...

You don't use an apostrophe to indicate the plural unless it's also abbreviated. Christ, man, quit while you're behind.

Yes, but I like Fatboy, see... that's the difference. What's the fun in being Vader if you can't have double standards?

_Mike

P.S. Asking people to have 3rd grade spelling and grammar abilities makes me a Nazi? Is that how low it's gotten?

No, generally I try and expend the .001% energy it takes to avoid representing myself as an uneducated moron. You might try it.

I can't believe I got drawn into this moronic argument.

JoeinAr.... please, if you are going to try to insult someone, at least PM them. Do not go off topic and bring the thread down, we are all fans trying to discuss the soundtrack. Your useless banter is no needed in this thread.
