there does seem to be a small continuity gap at some places though.. like one moment yoda's getting his ass kicked by sidious, the next he's with bail.

EDIT: oops.. was missing a page, forget that one...

but this one still stands, unless there's a page 87 that hasnt been hosted

and after obi-wan and anakin's duel, all of a sudden obi is gone and with padme for the birth.

I would like to thank the Beastie Boys, Split Enz, Crowded House, The Skyhooks, and the Hunters and Collectors for giving me music to scan to. And finally Stephen King for his book Dark Tower. If that book was not so heavy, the scans would not have come out like they did.

I probably made tons of mistakes. I have scanned, slept, grocery shopped, and took my wife to work since this started. So if you have anything missing please let me know and I will attempt to correct it.

what i want to know is if there's something missing between anakin's dying words and the frame where it says "shortly.." and palpatine is recovering the body.

Fantastic.

I've been trying to get through the images on the PaintedOver host, and it's slow as hell for some reason.

yay thanks gbone.

also, duke, i used your mirror and when I went to extract I got a corrupt file. Also, only pgs 10-85 are in the archive, fyi.

Download again - File should not be corrupted since it worked fine for my friends. :) And there should be all pages. :)

I've been through all of the links.

Cheers, GBone - amazing work :funky:

However - I need page 88.
The one in this thread is just a duplicate of page 87.
Can anyone paste the real page 88, then I will post the whole lot as a CDisplay file...

Thanx in advance...

Here is the whole shebang as a CDisplay file (sorry it's on Rapidshare, guys):

Revenge of the Sith, complete graphic novel

If you are unaccustomed to CDisplay, it is a simple program which has kind of become the standard for viewing comic book archives and other sequential images.
You can download the application here:

CDisplay

If this is not for you, don't worry - you can still download the single ROTS file above, then simply rename the ".CBZ" file extension as ".ZIP".
You can then extract the individual gifs from the resulting ZIP folder and do whatever the hell you want with them.

:)

Pg 87 and 88 are duplicates. Just leave one of them out and it will be complete

Honestly, I am pleasently surprised with some of the little things in the story. With so many loose ends and inconsistencies that seemed to be there between the OT and the first two PT episodes, I think that Lucas has tied most of them up nicely. We'll see how it translates to the movie.

I think the comic format is a big part of it really. I remember as a kid I had the GN for Terminator 2 and it was pretty goofy compared to the actual movie (it wasn't until years later that I realized that the actual movie was pretty goofy as well!) It's just hard to really make the same storytelling impact in a comic that you can in a film. Especially with some of that "art"...

I just consider it one freakin huge spoiler. ;)

Of course it won't be exactly like the film. But I'm sure the main points are covered well. After all, it is based on the film.

How Obi-Wan frees everyone from Grevious after they rescue Palpatine is pretty sweet. Would look cool in a movie.

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster! I've been really enjoying all the spoilers and stuff coming out for ROTS! This site kicks much ass! :heavymetal: I want to send a huge thanks to everyone that made all this stuff happen! It's you guys that make this so enjoyable for all us spoilerhounds! I decided it's time to get off my happy ass and register, and to stop lurking around and not contribute anything!

So I'm posting here first to say thanks to gbone for the time and effort put forth to bring us these scans! Much appreciated man!! :chewbacca: I have a fresh yousendit link available with the graphic novel zipped up in a .rar file. Now since darthpsychotic asked us nicely to not put up links anymore in this thread, if you pm me, I'll gladly send you the link! I just think that since gbone was so kind to share with us, we should do what we can to spread the wealth to others! :)

Thanks guys!

Excellent gbone :chewbacca:

I liked it very much, a little short maybe. The AOTC graphic novel was much longer, but this one had a better story ;)

I really enjoyed the AOTC GN. I liked alot more than the movie, actually. This adaptation is rushed to a ludicrous degree. If the movie were exactly like this comic, it might be about 25 minutes long. The other PT GNs have very nearly all the dialogue, along with cut dialogue and some cut action. What the hell is up with this one?

page 73, the one that shows the jedi temple in smoke at the top, the killed younglings in the middle, and yoda and obi-wan chatting at the bottom....it seems to be cut at the bottom of the page...does anyone have a better uncut scan of it?
