FYI, you can upload up to a gig on YouSendIt/YouShareIt. I've downloaded many dvdrips and tv shows from links of that nature before.

I get a "Problem connecting to tracker- HTTP Error 404: Not found" error message. Are you sure Torrentspy doesn't use a private tracker?

You need to not be a leech and join MF with the sole purpose of getting this file from me.

TorrentSpy has no problem with traffic. I dl from there every day and there are TONS of leechers. This thing only had 15.

It should be working fine i show 48 people currently connected and downloading. 3 are within 15% of becoming seeders.

For those Who Have Not recieved an incoming connection patience. Theres a ton of people trying to connect all at once. Its just the initial bump in the road that needs to be bypassed.

Within next 30 minutes will have a total of 4 seeds so things will start to pick up nicely

I've been going between 100k-400k/sec, should be done in an hour or less

a couple of tidbits for torrenting

bittorrent works tit-for-tat.. this means that if you limit your upload to nothing (say 15KBps) your download will also be limited. and this isn't something you can hack in the client AFAIK.. this is all controlled by the tracker.

DO NOT set your client to unlimited bandwidth. if you end up saturating your upstream you will hurt your download... leave at least 5-10KBps of headroom on your upstream or you won't be able to communicate properly with the peers you are trying to download from

make sure the ports are properly opened on your firewall (this is the big one). clients need to be able to make a connection back to you to download from you.

bittorrent is probably the most complicated of the P2P programs.. however, those who know how to use it properly can easily receive download speeds at their full rate of download.. I am getting over 200KBps at my home connection (not wasting a CD to bring it home) and have only been on for 20 minutes.. and that is a 3M/384K line..

I'm past 75% on the download and hanging around at about 100k/sec . as soon as it is finished i will start on usendit links. probably another 20 minutes on this download then a good hour per u sendit..

there are 8 seeds so far.. only 13 total copies have been downloaded.. frankly holding on to 2/3 of leechers is pretty good numbers..

I will post one yousendit.. I am not going to try and figure out here who really needs one and who is just being a lazy mooch.. so what I will do after the upload is finished is post that I will post the link at a set time and then post it at that set time. gives every honest user who can't use bittorrent a fair chance to download the file over the refresh mooches who just want to download without uploading.

of course if you are a fair and honest user who just can't use bittorent, you won't mind then creating a new yousendit link for the other honest users who need one as well...

My PeerGuardian app is going nuts..I don't think I've ever been probed by p2p companies as badly as I have with this download..
