How did he kill Durge?

I didn't read Obsession. I was put off by the cover art which made Obi-Wan look like he had Downs.

As you may know, Charles, Durge really can't be killed by lightsaber or blaster or any other kind of conventional weapon; he's got no vital organs, you see. Anakin put him in an escape pod and sent him into the center of a sun. Unless he's really strong, I'd say he's deader than disco.

Yeah, I remember him being tentacle dude on the cartoon. Sent into the sun? Pretty cool.

Did anyone notice on the Anakin vd Scan the text that says "Anakins facial scar is a reminder of his incounter with Dooku -trained Asajj Ventress."
Any chance that this is in the movie? In the art of Attack of the clones there are some great conceptual designs for a sith witch who looks alot like Assajj Ventress. It would be awesome to see a flash back scene of this encounter.

After seeing the content list, I am pretty assured that Qui Gon is not in the movie, either cut or never filmed. Guess Yoda gets the honour of discovering the afterlife secret. Well, it won't ruin the movie, but I'm a dissapointed. In the end I am just whining around that hopefully someone proves me right...

When Yoda and Kenobi go into exile, they learn the secret of having one's life force remain intact after death from their old friend Qui-Gon Jinn. I don't know if Neeson appears in the film eitehr physically or in voice, but QGJ is mentioned twice in these pages.

Vader's ROTS lightsaber is the ugliest yet.

The orange color of the adjuster just doesn't fit, and the design on the activator is like, some kind of Mello Smello sticker.

Too bad the dictionary doesn't have a bigger picture of Palpatine's.

It's true, our enjoyment of the movie (and it is just a movie) shouldn't stand or fall on a small element that, in all likelihood, we won't even really see. In my case, it certainly won't. But to a large degree, we're continuity cops; it's the nature of the geek beast, especially when we're dealing with an entire universe that, one assumes, ought to be consistent. Everybody has their pet peeve when it comes to continuity.

I have mine: I expected that in Revenge of the Sith, Vader would be wearing parts of his robe over his shoulder pads. Why? Because that's how he wore them in A New Hope. Instead, he's wearing them under his shoulder pads like he did in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Yes, they looked better to me worn under, and that's how he's more often seen, but dammit, I wanted them worn over this time!!! Continuity demands it!

But you know what? I'm still going to plunk down my eight bucks for this film, and more than once. I'll still get the books, the soundtrack, the DVD, and so on. It's Star Wars, and it's the last time I'll be able to do this, to have that specific connection to my childhood experience of being a fan going to see a Star Wars movie for the first time. And no small detail will change that.

Not for me, and, presumably, not for any of us.

These are great. I have the visual dictionaries for the first 2 movies as well. Anyone know a release date on this book by chance?

Well I'd think that Anakin's burnt face/dismembered body on the medical table would rate a page too, but I don't see that listed.

Maybe we don't see that in the movie either.

Book is embargoed until April 2, but some places will say fuck it and put them out sooner.

Honestly, there's not too many pages left, if any. The VD books are short.
