hmmm Dooku still has one of his hands here. I wonder if they were given a rough of the script so that they could do this adaption... then things changed later.

Comics of films rarely match up exactly anyway. If you think how long it takes to draw and paint a comic, then you'll realise that the story needs to be given to the comic guys quite a way in advance of the film even being finished. Obviously there will be minor differences but it doesn't really matter as long as the major elements are in there. Just look upon the comics as simply being another visual interpretation of the ROTS story.
