Not sure we need to credit here, since the T'Boners have been reposting MF pictures, files, and text reports since spring of 2004 with little or no credit at all.

In fact T'Bone has edited/un-parsed the few links to MF that were posted on his boards "The Galactic Senate". So feel free to repost the entire text and re-hosted images here.

Why is there internet starwars drama between us?

Well back in the pre-Episode II days, SI (Sith Interceptor) got a hold of the Attack of the Clones shooting script. Ternian formed a private, members only board called Kamino. GunsBlazing, Tai-Zec, TooChilled, Silmarillion, HookLineAndSinker, BobTheGoon, PadmeBra, Chyren, Vanda, Fatboy, AL, and several other people, including other "insiders" such as PerfectDark and Hoedaack were all "Kamino Spoiler Cabal" members.

One day in the fall of 2001, amisdt the SI script page sharing and secret picture showing at Ternian's Kamino, I happened to stumble across Kamino and "let myself in". I notified Ternian via email of my break-in and promised not to share anything I saw. In fact, I let Gunsblazing and a couple others know beforehand of my break-in and they both let me have it and MADE me promise lol, as they were close e-friends of mine.

Well around 3 weeks later, Ternian notified me that TBone and I were to be new "Spoiler Cabal" members. Yes that's right, TBone and I were inducted into the "Spoiler Cabal" at the sametime, we had access to SI's script and assloads of other good shit. In fact, SI did a script review for TBone around April 2002 - a month before TBone relaunched the GalacticSenate on invisionboard.

It was also around this time (Fall 2001) that a "Force Kin" got two CDs of hot, never before seen images from Attack of the Clones. Force Kin gave one CD to Episode-X and one CD to TBone. Episode-X ran the images under the "Sidious The White" spy moniker I believe and TBone posted the images under the "TFN_Sucks" spy moniker. Both TBone and Episode-X asked me to either mirror or debut these images on my now LFL taken away domain name "darthpsychotic.com".

Flash forward to August 2003. Ternian, now a site staffer at the now defunct Episode-X and Tai-Zec, the then head staffer member at the now defunct Episode-X got into a catfight. Harsh words were exchanged and Tai-Zec was thrown out of the Kamino Spoiler Cabal and Ternian resigned as Episode-X staff. TBone sided with Tai-Zec and left Kamino for "moral reasons". You see TBone is always presenting himself as the "moral" person in contrast to those pesky story-stealing folk at TheForce.net.

It was around this time, August 2003 - TheForce.net got a hellacious Episode III spy by the name of "DarthFriday" on the TFN frontpage. It was also around this time that then self-proclaimed TBone lap-dog Fatboy Roberts got some Episode III plot info himself. Fatboy promptly forked over all info to TBone.

Well TFN started to run DarthFirday reports every Friday (hence the name). It was then, the obsessed "Get TFN at all costs" TBone playing the role of Captain Ahab to TheForce.nets Moby Dick, concocted his "DarthThursday Spoiler Seasons" scheme.

TBone got his new lapdog (and still Spoiler Cabal member) "AL" to trade Fatboy Roberts and Episode-X - Kamino spoilers to DarthFriday. TBone would then post the traded TFN spoilers on his "Spoiler Seasons" report a day before TFN's DarthFriday spoiler reports. In fact TBone gave Fatboy a "gag order" on his own Episode III plot info. That's right, Fatboy couldn't even talk about his own spoilers.

Well enter Darth Psychotic. I got wind of AL trading Episode-X - Kamino spoilers to TFN's source for TBone. I obtained the text version of TFN's spoilers after various internet accounts related to TBones "DarthThursday scheme" were cracked wide open. I took the TBone DarthThursday crew for a ride on my starwars version of bangbus.

I informed TBone on AIM of my obtaining the spoilers because we were best e-buds in those days. Yes that's right, TBone knew all about my hijacking activities. We talked about the ill-gotten TFN spoilers a lot, everything was cool up until... I gave these TFN spoilers to Episode-X and Jedinet.

I found out that TFN was going to run The End of Episode III and asked Jedinet and Episode-X to run it first! I figured I was robbing from the rich TFN and giving to the poor. TBone however wanted to run the stolen TFN spoilers for HIMSELF and himself only. TBone ceased speaking with me and demanded Episode-X and Jedinet to do the same. Both Episode-X and Jedinet refused these asinine demands. After TBone made a bunch of wild claims I posted this thread: A Private Conversation with TFN's DarthFriday, AL, and TBone.

Well at the end of the day both TFN's DarthFriday and Fatboy ended up here. I got almost all pictures and info from them that they gave TBone.

Nowadays TBo's board http://www.galacticsenate.com is a haven for banned MF fuckers such as Poggle1138 aka Poggle The Greater and banned JC superstars like Razorback, a mid-30 something year old fuck who has his nose so far up Tom Hodges/TDHArtist ass he could sniff his colon. The dude brags about arguing with TheForce.net board teenagers and "knowing all about me".

Well anyone with a TFN board registration date before the fall of 2001 knows all about me, as I and the rest of the MF superstars were already well established legends before those fucks even registered.

If you don't know "our" history (circa 2001/2002): http://modsquad.virtualdogshit.com

or if you got a few days to kill just browse TheForce.net's Communications subforum. Start from the back and work your way to the present:

http://boards.theforce.net/Communications/b10006/p59

By the way TBone's admin forum was called "Backroom at the Bada Bing" and "The Chancellor's Private Chambers". Like TBone's public forums, there is not much in the admin-only forums.

I posted all of this lengthy stuff about TBone because he posting stuff like this shit here:

One thing you gotta remember about these guys - and I know a few of them pretty well - is that they're giddy about this kind of thing. They like to embellish. They'll look at a picture and write a paragraph about it based on just one still and people take that as gospel. They also have a reputation for wanting to fool other sites with fake info or make phony script pages and send them around.

They don't have a script - i think that's obvious. IF they have anything it's the kiddy novel because they got it last time kind of early and some pics came from there. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see all the latest pics that leaked come from there somehow. They all like to wheel and deal behind the scenes and trade for things, etc.

THE FACTS:

2001/2002: During the run up to Attack of the Clones, we had the script, pictures, and video (Connections).

Spring 2004: MF had unbelievable stills from the OT DVDs and a pretty much accurate Original Trilogy DVD changes report.

Summer 2004: We got the Return of the Jedi DVD almost two months before the official release. Empire Strikes Back, A New Hope DVDs, and Bonus Discs soon followed.

Fall 2004/Winter 2005: Enter Spoileriffic and HardCopy.

Spoileriffic has seen a cut of Episode III and has at least several hundred images. HardCopy has access to the script, book, and other materials.

I'm glad TBone has his own stuff now. Maybe his site and forums can stop revolving around MF. :)

Great pic, but this bit from T'Bone caught me even more:

Quote:
...there are other small ships that look like the letter H from the front in the film, most noticeable escorting Palpatine's Theta-class shuttle from Mustafar to Coruscant to rebuild Darth Vader. These ships are called V-Wings.

Am I out of the loop, or has no one before now actually nailed down Coruscant as the place where Vader gets rebuilt?

LOL - I didn't even notice that!

It has been suggested before, but I must admit Mustafar always seemed more likely to me...

Coruscant it is then.

"has no one before now actually nailed down Coruscant as the place where Vader gets rebuilt? "

T'Bone first mentioned it in his spy report from a day or two ago.

If this is true, I'm curious about how and why the two of them apparently end up far away from Coruscant at the end watching the building of the Death Star.

DP I hope you write a book, brother so I can direct the movie adaptation.

Once all this Star Wars shit blows over after Episode 3 then the real saga can be told. ;)

Sweet pic of Padme!!!

Also, if Spoileriffic has seen a rough cut of the movie, then can he at least comment on his opinion of the film. I am not talking a detailed review here. Just post with a paragraph worth of his informal written opinion of the whole movie.

Also, if he can't get on here to do that, do you know what his opinion of it is at all darthpsychotic?

Thanks for that history, Darth Psychotic, it gives me even more respect for you guys at MF.com. I've been a member for years under a different name at TFN (sadly), and remember hearing mentions here and there of alot of that stuff going down, so it was great to actually see the facts.

While reading that I got flashbacks of Razorback going ape shit at me anytime I would complain about anything T-Bone ever said. RB has got to be the biggest fucking piece of shit on the planet. That felt good :weed:

Nice to finally read that all in one place. I had a decent idea of what went down but that fills in all the gaps. Good read. :heavymetal:

Fatboy you may try to deny the entertainment value but deep down you know there's been enough drama and colorful characters to make a hell of an interesting movie. More entertaining than the majority of the shit Hollywood churns out. The key to writing it would be the approach, whether in novel or script form. If it's a script I'd utilize a lot of voice-over narraration to get across the many layers of truth, lies and deception. I'd direct it like an Oliver Stone movie, visually dense because you don't want to see nothing but people at computers. Start it back in May 1977 and end it on May 19th 2005.

Re: the drama... Sounds like pretty typical fan conflict to me. Nothing against the people involved, whose emotions were genuine, but you'll find those exact plot beats in every subculture you care to name. Boilerplate stuff. Of course a good writer can win a Pulitzer with two guys arguing over the cable remote. But unless you want to work diligently for months making T'Bone into a riveting character, I wouldn't bother.

Still, it's interesting to finally read the backstory that gets alluded to on a regular basis. Thanks for that, DP.

I have nothing invested in Padme. Portman is going to have to really pull the character off well in this one for me to give a rats ass she's dead -- as I already figured she would be by the end of the movie.

It's the old "Titanic" effect.

"What?! The boat sinks?! No fuckin' way!"

Yeah, we knew she was going to bite it.. so, it's all on Portman and McGregor, I guess, to make it interesting, rather than just "something that happens to delay the start of the duel."

Edit:

Oh, and regarding the internet drama..

Where does the Kamino Spoiler Cabal fall in line with other secret societies like The Skull and Bones?

Gimme a fucking break.

What cafeteria table did you sit at? Are you still sitting there?

Fatboy wrote:
That's it, I'm fucking writing it.

I remember sort of enough from when T'bone, Lee from Newsdroid and Beasley from Jedinet were telling it to me, and I've read enough from Ens, from Griffin, from Chitwood and all, and goddamn...

It's a sad, semi-comical, exercise in frivolity and arrested development, and I think it'd almost be better if it WASN'T slavishly fact-checked. If the names were changed to protect the innocent, and the feeling was gotten across.

Well, mostly because I don't think the people involved would sign off on it, really. Chitwood tried to sue people for a joke nazi picture and comments on messageboards. I doubt he'd sign off on a BOOK detailing how fucktarded EVERYONE was from 99 on forward. I know Pabs, Ens and anyone else who went from a fansite to Lucasfilm wouldn't sign off, I'm pretty sure T'bone and Griffin wouldn't sign off, they've been trying to publish books for awhile now..

And everyone's been so full of shit about everything for so long, I'm not sure even if we DID get in-depth interviews compiled, that it'd be close to the truth anyway. So why not just make it a memoir of the time wasted on the internet caught up in a community that formed around kids movies and came to be almost a microcosm of American society in and of itself? The names aren't important, mostly because everyone fits into a pretty neat archetype as it stands already.

Plus, if people are going to fuckin PAY for it... ;)

Yeah, and it's everywhere outside of the computer, too.. hence the cafeteria table reference.

I guess it just seems like there's a constant war between sites when, I guess for the most part, all the casual fan wants is to get the info.. regardless of their "alliegance" to a site.

Eh.. I find it amusing on one hand and, on the other, it's a testament to the fact that people are friggin' stupid.

I remember reports from the AOTC set of Hayden getting pissed at Natalie for getting things wrong and not taking things seriously.

People criticize Hayden for AOTC but many ignore her shitty performance. His acting looks worse because he's actually trying where as she's just reciting lines.

I think he'll be an awesome Vader, too.

In all fairness, she's really being asked to play two parts -- the Queen/Senator where she's got the really wooden dialogue and all that and then the Padme part, where she's supposed to be a regular person.

Hayden is asked to play 2 parts too. A headstrong Jedi learner in love, in Episode 2, and a Jedi seduced by the dark side.

She's terrible at both parts. Actually, she wasn't so bad in Episode 1. In the senate she actually had conviction in her voice. In AOTC, her body was rigid all the time...her movements were stiff and her gaze retarded.

Just look at her face when she's walking up the stairs of the homestead in AOTC to see Anakin. It's like she's a zombie. Either way, that has nothing to do with this movie. I just hope she wakes the fuck up. Dumb slut.

Since never, I guess.
But by the same token - it doesn't mean all award-winners must automatically be crap either.

I was just pointing out - Natalie Portman = award-winning actress; at least someone out there must like her...

Personally, I think an actor or actress is as good as the film they are in.

People knock Ric Olie - but Ralph Brown was in Withnail & I, and he was great in Withnail & I, and Withnail & I was great too.

Horses for courses, I suppose.... :)

I could have used some Kiera in this movie btw. However, I do have hope for Natalie that she can pull this off. Like it or not, this is the role that everyone will remember. That pic is a good sign imo.

I get what you're saying, LS especially considering the bright light coming from in front of the guard. Sometimes I think animators are too reluctant to cast their creations in shadow. Also they often appear sharper in detail than other objects in the same frame or scene(witness the clonetroopers in the gunship pic).

I darkened the magna guard a bit for comparison purposes.

Tbone has a new spoiler update. Some interesting titbits:

Anakin being rescued from death on the edge of a lava river on a black sand bank.

Darth Sidious the alchemist using magic potions and tools to begin the cyborg tranformation.

Wookiees enslaved for slave labor.

Clone Shocktroopers accompanying Palps to the Senate for "protection."

A submerged Obi-Wan being protected from detection by the intervention of the Nos monster in Utapau.

Well you know, I've been part of the online SW fan community since '96 or so... first site I discovered was "Red 5" by Steve Koukoulas. Anybody remember that one? I started reading "The Star Wars Pages at Texas A&M" before it ever became TF.N, let alone "TF.N LLC TM R LMNOP SOS WTF."

I was vaguely aware of some parts of that behind-the-scenes drama that DP described, but much of it I was totally oblivious to. I was a Mod at TF.N for about a month in 1998 and quit because I didn't like having that kind of power of people and I didn't agree with the modding style a lot of people used. Regardless, I was on the JC Mods mailing list for years after that, and saw bits and pieces of the drama and I largely tried to stay out of it.

The thing that always gets to me is how a person is smart but people are stupid - the larger the group the lower the IQ, exponentially so.

The worst thing is how the forums over there became more of a social club than a place to discuss SW, and the more people joined the stranger it got, this microcosm of retarded kids fighting over nothing.

I got out. And I'm glad I did. I'm a Star Wars fan. I'm not into this bullshit about "fan culture" anymore. I just want the information. I'll get it from Millennium Falcon or T'Bone, or TF.N, if TF.N actually had any damn news anymore.

But soon it's gonna be over and none of that is gonna matter anymore anyway. And damn, is it weird to think about how much of our lives have been spent talking about SW on one forum or another, and how much drama has arisen because of it.

It's enough to make me glad it's almost over...

Looks like it came from the visual dictionary judging from the outline on the feet
