'Evening folks. I'm simply yet another "used to post on TFN JC but got sick of all their nonsense" case. It didn't seem so bad back when I first started posting there, and I was always more of a lurker than a poster anyways. But after a while.... that place just gives me a migraine now. Now I just pop in once in awhile to check for new ROTS pics in the image thread of 3SA.

I've been to and knew about this place for a long time, yet for the life of me I don't know why I never registered here. Granted there's still a bit of idiocy here and there (that comes with the territory with online forums), but NOTHING that even approaches the level of infantile bickering at TFN. I hardly ever posted there to begin with, but just lurking has long become an exercise in forehead smacking tedium. And I much respect the strict "no BS" reputation this joint sports.

Oh and while I'm not usually prone to swearing, I must say it is rather cool and nifty that language isn't an issue here. In fact I think I'll capitalize on that right now with this random quote:

Been lurking here for a while, without really much of a compulsion to post (unlike a lot of the beggar nubs here apparently ) until today, so I went ahead and registered. im 28, career college student apparently (j/k) and have been a star wars fan all my life. anyway, I have been admiring the site for some time now, and decided to stop being a lurker and actually join in some of this conversation... so to start... When the ROTS dvd rip hit the newsgroups I heard this place mentioned several times. I have since downloaded the dvd and yes the hype was true it rules and is more than satisfactory until retail. I thought I should join up to your boards over here though, as those that spoke of this place did so in a very positive light.
