The DS doesn't fall apart in your hands, and most importantly, it has games people give a shit about
Sorry dude but you are way wrong. DS games are complete trash. I love Nintendo (I own 2 Gamecubes) but seriously. Awesome Hardware, no software. My brother has a DS and I yet to see a game worth buying. Develeppers don't know what to do with the DS. Since my brother got his DS, I have been playing more SP then before. Super Mario 3 and Metroid Zero Mission are great games. Where are the games like this for DS ? I can't find them.
Over all game quality has gone down, in all areas of the game industry.
One thing to note, SMB3 and Zero Mission were NOT launch titles.
That's like saying the GBA sucks because it released with SMB2, well look at the library now...
So far the only games worth buying (in USA) are Super Mario 64 DS (ironically the ONLY Nintendo developed title available right now in USA), Feel the Magic: XXYY and Mr Driller, don't think Puyo Pop is out yet.
There's heaps of MAJOR titles coming out for Nintendo DS
- Wario Ware Touched! (Feb 14)
- Yoshi! Touch N Go (March)
- Jump SuperStars
- Mario Kart DS!!
- Advance Wars DS
- Super Mario Bros. DS (Yes a new one, 2.5D)
- Zelda Four Swords
- Metroid Prime: Hunters
- Pokemon Pearl/Diamond
- Soul Calibur DS
- Castlevania DS
- Final Fantasy III
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle
- Phantasy Star Online DS
AND THEY'RE ALL PLAYABLE ONLINE or via x-link kai tunnel
Not to mention new games that will be shown at E3... SSB DS?

I dunno about you, but that's a much more solid lineup than what's on the PSP. DS is going to have a very rosey future.
BTW, you should get Zelda: Minish Cap for GBA if you haven't already... it runs on DS as well.

PTGrievous once again you've manage to also reply to my post with no solid fact, only one that PSP has sold 700 thousand copies (thats 700 thousand less for DS, and it hasn't even been released in american the euro yet, get set for it to sell many more), the PSP does not fall apart... it was a rotten peice of crap rumour that spat from Japan, Nintendo dweebs were fucking around with one pissing all over it and filming it on a digital cam... unless you can hand up right here (which is impossible because it hasn't been released here yet) some "Facts" of the American/Euro PSP screwing up then I suggest you shut your trap until, its released... at that point if the problem exists, which I doubt... I won't continue on with the discussion...
Once again, you have not learnt how to use paragraphs or construct cohesive arguments.
With that said...
How is the PSP doing well when the DS is ouselling the PSP at a ratio of 2:1 for hardware, and 3:1 for software.
You haven't told me this.
The PSP is defective, look 12 posts up for evidence - there are pictures, videos and first hand accounts, every unit ejects the UMD if you press certain areas on the backpanel, this is no rumour, it's a fact.
Or did you completely miss that post altogether?
The PSP defects will continue, because Sony has not revised the way they manufacture PSPs, they will still have a pathetic 3 hour battery life, the Square button will likely get stuck, UMDs will be ejected. Ken Kutaragi is laughing at you.
And what are these 'shitty' Nintendo games that Nintendo should stop making?
Or have you assumed Nintendo creates ALL the games for GBA, because Nintendo always makes brilliant titles.
Please, for your own sake, stop trying to argue with me when you don't know what you're talking about.
