I posted this in another thread, but it was ignored due to it not exactly being the topic of the thread....

"Hey I got a Q, are we actually going to visually see Anakin's dream or parts of it? Or is it just going to be a retelling a la EII. It would def be out of the SW style to show a dream sequence, but in this instance, I think it would be lame to just to a carbon copy of EII's sweaty nightmare scene."

From what Spoileriffic told me and this is second hand info and I maybe recalling incorrectly.

Anakin force chokes Amidala up off her feet and bounces her ass off a wall. Now apparently this has been cut out and and I'm not sure if it is seen in Anakin's dream. Now that I think about it, I believe both Ewok Pudu and Spoileriffic said this was alternate force choke scene, which since has been cut, and it wasn't in Anakin's nightmare.

HardCopy and Ternian:
Anakin's dream/nightmare consists of seeing Amidala dying due to childbirth trauma. I recall Spoileriffic backing up HardCopy and Ternian's dream sequence. Hopefully all parties can chime in with their own words.

Just so I'm not confused... Padme's still getting choked by Anakin right? Just not lifted up and thrown against the wall.

Exactly Matt, according to initial reports Amidala dies by Force Choke and she is lifted up off her feet and bounced off the wall by Anakin. The off the feet and against the wall part as of now, has been cut. I'm not sure at all if the sequence appeared in Anakin's dream.

According to HardCopy (and perhaps backed up by Spoileriffic), Anakin dreams of Amidala dying during childbirth and this is shown.

This is why this thread was initially left unanswered because those "in the know" aren't here to respond.

I'm dense, I know, but it just now occurs to me that for the whole movie audiences will assume Padme is going to die strictly because of childbirth. The Force choke will come right out of the blue. Very cool.

Anakin THINKS that the Sith know the secret to everlasting life. The fact that Sidious has clearly extended his life for so many years is evidence that this is actually the truth, from a certian point of view. But don't believe everything you read on a message board. What you read was speculation, the spoilers on Force-ghosts are still sketchy as this stage.

Yeah, I feel that since the Sith are fueled by the hunger for power & will stop at nothing to get it. Then using the darkside to prolong their lives to attain as much power as possible is something that is used frequently.

We really dont know how old Palp/Sid is anyway so with the Jedi trying to find enlightenment, it makes sense for the Sith to be doing the opposite.

Let me see if i'm getting this. The Sith can achieve PHYSICAL eternal life through power. And the Jedi discover SPIRITUAL eternal life through Love/understanding.

I haven't read all the Hardcopy stuff, but so far the Love thing is what alot of people are posting.

Tim Lehrbach is right though, at least from my understanding.

I asked Tern about this on another thread. Does Anakin tell Padmé - "Hey, I just dreamed you died!"?

I heard they cut the bounce off the wall scene very early on. I doubt seriously it will end up in deleted scenes either.

On another note, I heard the scene where she cuts his dick off before he comes back as a ghost in ROTJ will be added to the new DVD's.

There's another recent update of the Pablo Q&A Dropbox dated Feb 04 (that's the third this week). I think this will settle it:

Some sheep wrote:
In the latest edition of Star Wars Insider, there is a picture from ROTS where "Anakin Skywalker wakes up in a cold sweat after a terrible nightmare he has about his pregnant wife, Padme Amidala." My question is will we see this "nightmare"?

Pablo wrote:
Yes.

Non-spoiled people don't know that Anakin dreams about Padme's death. So according to that theory Pablo is basically lying to a whole bunch of people. That being the case, why not write off everything he's said so far as being a plausible lie? Personally, I'm going to take it at face value. Every time GL makes a Star Wars movie he defies "the forumula" that fans have devised for SW movies, from the title and opening crawl right through to the most important plot developments.

I say the dream sequence is in, and it won't be like the one in ESB.
