Yeah, this is the horror movie episode, no doubt. Monsters rule, and practically everyone gets killed. I used to think GL was being overly dramatic when he said that III would be the least popular chapter, but he just may have succeeded in making a movie that has people saying "what the fuck kind of Star Wars movie was that?"

This looks a hell of a lot like a picture modification I did before AOTC came out and people were speculating what Dooku's saber would look like because of the odd curved handle. So I photoshopped something up that looked just like that Scimitar and posted it on TFN boards.

I think I've figured out why (well, besides the man boobs) these Palpatine pictures have been all over the board regarding the appearance.

It is not only the lighting regarding the shadows; but, also the skin color. If you compare RotJ Palps to these new pics, his face has too much color in it. By contrast in RotJ, his color is almost pure white.

The completed stills (like the reveal and grin from last night) versus the promo shots (today's cheese and the BK one) have his skin color faded because of the lighting.

I need to reinstall Photoshop on this PC and try messing with his skin tone to see if this theory works.

"Pregnant" Palpatine does fit the image very well.

Although I'm sure if LFL does finish it and release it as a poster, it will look a lot better.
