What does he have TooChilled? If Griffins information is accurate then this is good stuff. If anyone read the info on the official site about the clone wars novel which is set not long before Episode 3's events (i forget what it's called, but the novelist has read the ROTS script) then you will know that it is true that Yoda is speaking to Qui Gon. Sure it's EU, but EU very closely planned to tie in with ROTS. Up until recently i thought there would be nothing of Qui Gon in 3. Now the signs point elsewhere. I don't think Neeson would have much issue with recording some dialogue for the film. Hopefully.

Did Neeson and Lucas have it out? I remember hearing before EP II came out that he was gonna be a ghost in that one... I thought they may have gotten into some argument of some sort.

It's worse.

It's the Jr. Novelization.

Quote:

Now this certainly isn't Lucas.

'The old man was left crumpled to his knees.

"I cannot, I turn myself over to you. I am too weak in the end," he said. "Too old, weak ... I give up. Don't kill me, Master Windu. I surrender." '

If this one IS true it explains alot. If Anakin's turning is his own choice, but also something we might sympathise with, then protecting a weak old man from the big bad jedi ticks the box for me.

This would be a very neat way of understanding the turn. Once he's realised what he's done there's no turning back, being already elbow deep in blood. Even if he soon realises he's been manipulated by seeing a true display palp's powers, the die is cast.

This irks the hell out of me more than interests me...

Does anyone else comprehend the satisfaction that goes with teasing people with tidbits of info on this movie?

Once this movie comes out nobody is going to even give a flying fuck about Griffin or (others), and the way they facinated us with their dribbling of tidbits from this movie...They aren't doing this shit for the fans..If they were we would have read the whole draft of the NOVEL by now...or seen all the images there are to see (assuming there are more) out there, I just invision some attention starved ass stringing people along to better his own image of himself in the eyes of others to stave off what is otherwise a pathetic boring existance outside the internet.

If you have it, spill it...or fuck off.

I'm more tha satisfied waiting for the trailers, which by far have blown everything else away in terms of spoilers.

Aside from Fatboy, there are not many who will drop everything they have and forgo these stupid net games.

That's a shame.

100% agreement. It seems especially bad with Ep III. All those stupid fucking guessing games. This info is being hoarded like porno mags in a prison, and certain sites and specific people are dribbling it out slowly, seemingly for their own benefit and/or ego. I'm not interested in retarded junior-high-school-level games or mysterious, vague hints. I just want to know what happens in the goddamn movie.

No, he has a wife and kids and his in his 30s i think.

I guess it makes the game he plays all the more pathetic.

EDIT: Personally, all I care to see are pics. All these small tidbits are useless when it comes down to it...you invision it a certain way, or it could be cut from the final film, but a film still is golden.

Thanks to those who actually supply the pics, but those who with-hold them so you can string them out over a period of time (hence have people continue to stroke your e-cock) are big fucken losers. I agree with the above posts wholeheartedly.

My guess is that Mace, Agen, Saesee, and Kit have a talk with Anakin in a Jedi Temple hangar about him staying at the Temple and not interfering. Which is saying something when Anakin is supposed to be the chosen one. The posse then take off in a gunship. Cut to Obi-Wan dealing with Grievous on Utapau. Once Grievous is finished we return to Mace and posse entering the office lobby with full authority. Dar Wac protests and the guards stand their ground only to be choked out. Then the posse enters the office. Palpatine acknowledges their presence without turning around his chair. The storm clouds are gathering. He then faces them and they have chit chat about what all has happened. Then Sidious unleashes upon them. He kills Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, and Saesee Tiin. Mace is on the defense and needs help. Finally Palpatine senses Anakins arrival and pretends to be old, weak, and helpless. Anakin sees this and has a heated convo with Mace. After all is said, Mace says the spoiler line and is ready to kill Darth Sidious. That's when Anakin ignites his saber and jumps in for the save...

Well I hadn't gotten to it yet T! :meatwad:

Now that I have read that portion of the scriptment, I see I was close with my thoughts. Just some details concerning antechamber and main office that were mixed for the most part.

The only people who are hording info and dangling it in front of everyone's faces is $tarwars.com and Hyper$pace (As evidenced by Tom Hodges aka tdhartist's asinine posting behaviour on TheForce.net's boards.)

We @ MF are not hording or dangling info.

You will soon see what all we have. I'm in the process of acquiring another domain name which will be the spiritual successor to darthpsychotic.com (of which I pointed out on many occasions was taken away from me at the behest of LFL) and will be posting promotional shots and stills on it just like the pre-Episode II days.

There is a scene where the hooded Palpidious declares himself Emperor of the newly-created Empire. My how different the good chancellor looks now.

JG

Hmmm. He does this while hooded and as Sidious?

Palpatine wears a maroon hooded cloak when he addresses the Senate - a red version of the black costume in the OT. Sly Moore wears her normal robes and Mas Amedda has the mustard outfit with a huge stick he holds (see the Insider pic of him exiting the shuttle).

Isn't this supposed to happen in ANH? Theres a point where Tarkin walks in and says that Palps has eliminated the senate. When Vader almost chokes that dude that says the Death Star is the most powerful thing in the universe...

Yeah, the Galactic Senate is finally dissolved in ANH once the Death Star is operational. Palpatine thinks the Senate and the possibility that the Rebellion may grow is still a danger until he has the Death Star operational, at which point he becomes total dictator and is able to enforce his will through violence anywhere in the Galaxy.

Juilus Ceaser was the first emperor of Rome but also had a Senate of elected representitives on par with him, the tyrannical and oligarchic systems of Government were not mutually exclusive. The SW situation almost mirrors his exactly except that Ceaser didn't create conflicts to maintain his position like Palpatine, the Senate voted to give him dictaorial powers and then voted to keep him and he never stepped down because being a popular general the armies supported him. Although the disaffected Senators did end up assassinating his sorry arse on the steps of the Senate ;)

Meh, more Griffen babble. :what:

http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp? ... t=17776162

"Let's just say that Mace is literally blindsided by Anakin's Dark Side."

JG

He seems to be making it sound like Anakin blasts Mace with Force lightning...or cheap shots him during his fight with Darth Sidious. Of course, we see this in the Episode III video game preview, so it's not much of a stretch to probably expect this. :|

He has something to say abot Yoda as well. Same thread.

"Yoda senses the Clones turning and has to think quickly to escape."

JG

EDIT: Two more quotes, but a different thread.

http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp? ... t=17778891

"Doesn't Mace lose a hand with his lightsaber still in it? Hmmm...I've got to dig up who told me that."

"Yeah, I think Anakin says something about him needing to keep Palpatine alive so he could save Padmé. Then he swipes off Mace's hand."

JG

it could also mean that Mace is not prepared for Anakin's use of the darkside when fighting him...not necessarily a cheap shot, but a display of power courtesy of the darkside, something Windu wasn't expecting....

but its precisely this sort of equivocating bullshit that convinces me JG's on some kind of ego-trip, sad as that sounds...

if you're going to say something, then say, don't be fuckin coy....
