Good man Darth Duster, id found a link to it from Dark Horizons 10mins ago and downloaded it.

This is much better than the AOL 10MB version and the Access Hollywood 60MB Bitorrent file.

on one of the webdocs it showed the ILM girl whose job it is too make sure there are no unwanted reflections in 3po's platings! so whatever is there is meant to be there or it is created as a reflection as it wasnt there in the 1st place! probably a light as there are no royal guards on the tantive and all the alderaan colours are all pale pastely/white

on the subject of alderaan i hope they go with the old school style visions! http://www.ralphmcquarrie.com/ralph/book/25/paint/54.JPG

Shame about the extra large version of the trailer not turning up on the OS today (so far). I'd all but convinced myself that when the medium and large versions went free, the extra large would appear. Oh well.

:(

While looking for a MPEG-1 version of what I thought was the official trailer, I downloaded something that has snippets from the movie in this order:

1.Hanger door opens, Anakin and Obi-Wan enter what looks like a ship interior.

2.Small clip with Padme with strange headgear.

3. Obi-Wan in water.

4. Anakin carrying an unconcious Obi-Wan (same set from 1.)

5.Anakin and Obi-Wan in water.

6. Emperor from ROTJ saying "rise my friend", and Vader walking down the ramp from the beginning of ROTJ.

7.Footage from the Anakin Obi-Wan duel some of it choppy, with looks like finished Mustafar effects.

Is this footage out there from Hyperspace or is this leaked behind the scenes footage?

It's probably a fan made trailer using footage from the webdocs. I know there's one floating around.

Thundercracker is right, Tim. All that new footage is from the webdocs. It's visually a pretty well made fan trailer.

I was comparing Vader's voice in ROTJ with the ROTS voice and without a doubt it's JEJ. The tone of his voice is exactly the same. The only thing in dispute is the 'Master' that is said in the ROTS trailer, but I'm betting money that it's intentionally said that way. Think of it as Vader waking up and speaking in the suit for the first time.

In ROTJ, everthing sounds exactly the same, the only difference is that he trails off at the end of saying matter so it sounds like Yes, master.

Listen to him speaking to the emperor right after Tyderium goes into hyperspace.

What is thy bidding, my master.

Or even at the emperor's arrival.
"I sense you wish to continue your search for young skywalker..."
"YES, my master..."

I'm THAT bored, so I thought I would post this.

I don't think the voice in the trailer is JEJ's. It does sound exactly the same except for the "rrrr" at the end of master. They could have taken a sound byte of Hayden saying those words and modified the tone, etc. to resemble JEJ's. The reason why as to why I think this way is because people's voices don't change too much over the years, escpecially pronunciation of words.

Although if all this was true, I don't know why they didn't just use an old soundbyte from ROTJ. :)

Alright, alright. It's James Earl Jones. (Although, he has stated he hasn't been called in for any recordings.) I don't like the different voice. It doesn't make sense to tamper with it. I realize James Earl Jones can change his accent for a recording, but why should he?

Why would Anakin/Vader pronounce his words differently as he ages?

I know we're obsessive SW fans, but come on people!

It's two words spoken in a teaser trailer. Get a little perspective. You're reading way too much into this. :whateva:

What about this recent story about JEJ claiming not to have been contacted by Lucas yet for Ep3 as of October 28?

I asked him if George called him for any voice work yet for Ep 3. He said not yet.

IMO it's Hayden's voice. If anyone in the world can alter someone's voice to sound like Vader it would be Ben Burtt.

Yes, the recent story from TFN, THAT site of all that is OFFICIAL.

Ever considered the possibility that JEJ may have been lying to the young chap who went to the stage door to meet him ?

Also, don't you guys/girls play any Star Wars games at all?
For example all additional Darth Vader lines are done by other people, and trust me, there are quite a few people that I see in the various games end credits, but they all sound like Darth Vader, so no one, unless confirmed, can tell you that is JEJ in the trailer. How do we know if they are going to use JEJ in the movie, for them, it would be cheaper to get the people who do the videogames, and everyone knows how cheap Lucas is when it comes to cutting film costs - all I can say to that is, we want JEJ for the movie, so they better not think about it!

This is probably the worst logical deduction that I've read all day.

You do realize that, particularily with voicework, the difference in money between JEJ and some fake is so small that it wouldn't make a difference for Lucas, right?

No, of course you didn't. That's why you came out and made such a horrible theory.

Nope, I disagree there totaly, JEJ would get paid A LOT more then any normal videogame voice actor. But Lucas would get stormed if he didn't use Jones, and that is something that he wouldn't want anyhow. But you never know in the movie business... But no one can say, unless confirmed, if that was Jones in the trailer. It could be another voice actor, or could be takes from the OT, but tweaked, which, if you look at AOTC, lucas has a habbit of doing.

My brother bought one that was IDENTICAL to that years and years ago. All it did was mechanize your voice, making it muffled and what not. This is the exact same product re-released.

I didn't think Vaders voice sounded any different to the JEJ stuff from the recent DVD's. I did think that Sidious' "Lord Vay-ther, riiiiiiise" sounded a bit fucking weird, like he was talking through a fat lip or something.
