Those films had many problems, but I dont think editing is among them.

Besides Lucas, Burt, and Barton are working together. I think it'll be fine.

He can't be any worse than that Lucas/Burtt combo platter.

I'm watching Gone in 60 Seconds on TV right now and I quite like the editing, especially during the action scenes.

True. And it's not like we have much choice.

Those movies just seem kinda "A.D.H.D." though, if you get me.

I hear ya.

Ghost Ship was an awful movie, but the edting was crisp. It had an interesting, foreboding feel to it. That's something I'd like Episode III to have.

So basically Michael Bay's editor is working on Episode 3. I'm not sure I like the idea though because Bay's movies are cut like music videos. Barely any shots are longer than 2 or 3 seconds. Then again considering the amount of action in Ep3 this could be just what it needs.

Ghost Ship and Bad Boyz II are the only ones I haven't seen on that list, so I'll take your word on Ghost Ship.

I don't know shit about editing a damn film anyways...

Pearl Harbor was fine, but should have ended after the attack. The Doolittle Raid seemed excessive and rushed.

No qualm on the editing front, though.

Christ anything has to be better then the editing for attack of the clones. I've seen most of those movies and have no beef with the editing.

I agree with Justin on this issue.

Burtt had one job too many on AOTC.

Sorry have to pipe in on this one again, some of the editing in AoTC was superb, other spots are well just plain shit. And for the average movie fan like me to notice it must be bad. And I can't say for certain if Lucas let big B just have at the whole thing or he personally helped edit certain parts out. But regardless with a new editor in place I think this indicates good things for e3.

If there's one problem I have with AOTC it is definately the editing.

If anyone wants to see great editing then check out Pearl Harbor again. Cheers Rodg...

The editor on AotC should have been shot and then stampled on by Stampy.

I don't care who the new editor is...as long as it isn't BB.

I just watched the bombing of Pearl Harbor and it was quite well edited. I can't say for the rest of the movie, because I've never seen the whole thing but it's on TV so I decided to watch some of it for the editing.
