Well guys, I spoke to one of my contacts tonight, and they have declared that the banner image of Anakin outlined in Vader silhouette in front of the Death Star background with smoke is in fact the real deal, or at least a close representation. I say the latter simply because this person hasn't had time to see the image posted on the internet, but what he described is actually dead on.

Now if this information is inaccurate, I will be highly pissed off, because DP knows I am reliable when it comes to this shit, and it will only be a case of yet another one of my insiders with their head in their ass.

I was also told that theaters have these banners already, and that you should start seeing them up by next Friday, with a teaser 3 weeks away from today. Doing the math, this puts the teaser release on November 5th, which happens to coincide with the opening of The Incredibles.

I should have one of these babies in my hands by next Friday, and if that's the case, then we can be guaranteed of the teaser release.

The teaser description given out at TFN is also supposedly right on the money.

Well, it 's like I've been saying lately...

The AOTC teaser poster was pretty bad.

Anakin's braid on wrong side, wearing Jedi clothes that were the wrong color, and a red lightsaber just thrown in there.

Even though this one isn't much better, at least the visual makes sense.

I have trusted Artmaul in the past and I don't see why to change that now.. so did art department have a day off when this was created?

Unless they can somehow maintain the movie quality on TV, which I doubt, most people aren't going to be following the series with half as much anticipation as the features.

Well, I honestly don't believe a comic artist would necessarily know that kind of information. No offense to Tom, but my source has proven to come through for me personally in the past, and with this kind of stuff.

Final update. No poster yet, but the real poster is similar to the Vader silhouette. It's darker, and slightly different. A better composite job. This is what I said in my first post. Same background.

From what I understand:

Background is same
Composite is better
Layout is same
Smoke still there
Darker and richer.

Keep in mind this is info from somebody who doesn't have much time to analyze differences.

That's a possible take. I just know that the real deal is very similar to that. How similar depends on my source's own point of view.

I personally think the idea will be similar but the design different.

Anybody, can make that statement.......It dosnt require any insider contact to state something like that.
