Yeah, that's the single most annoying thing in an analogue transfer - the interlacing. It can ruin an otherwise great transfer. IIRC there's a few spots in mid-side in the trilogy where the interlacing flips, but it's all pretty predictable and it never flips mid scene or anything wacky like that.

Manual IVTC is the only way to go in my book.

Not exactly. I am looking for IVTC errors frame by frame, but I'm trying to keep the colors as natural as possible. There are some sequences that may need some individual settings, however.

Keep an eye out on MYSPLEEN.com - My brother did LD transfers about 6 months ago it a 4 disc set ~ I'm working on a torrent freindly 2 Disc set :p

I'll be posting them before the "winter" holidays :heavymetal:
