i had heard that George was thinking of following the play, "Othello". where the hero's best friend falls in love with his girlfriend/wife when he is at war and cause a huge fight. i have not heard this rumor for sometime but i am not going to rule it out just yet. i think it would be just the perfect thing to push anakin over into killing padme. also gives him just cause to hate obi-1 as well.

This freakin rumor won't go away. There is NO love triangle. Never was, never will be.

The picture you saw was most likely a still from the new webdoc where Obi-Wan and Padme kiss on the cheeks as a greeting. Nothing more.

Lucas said there was going to be a love triangle, just not between who you expect. He was being funny and probably meant between Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Palpatine.

for me Obi Wan is the perfect jedi, and if in some moment this is real, he woldn't be a perfect jedi, and all the history of the original trilogy change with it. Y really don't like it...

PALPATINE setting up a scene placing the two senators together and taking pictures then showing them to ANAKIN to make it look like a sordid affair - okay.

But OBI-WAN and PADME? I have a problem with this on two counts: (1) I don't want to believe it, and (2) OBI-WAN will be too busy fighting in the Clone Wars will he not? When will he have time to see PADME to the extent that PALPATINE could pin him down to be set up?

Is that not exactly why the PT is criticized? It's "not ground-breaking or risky." Hmmmmmm...

From the pictures I've seen of her, I actually thought this was the chick who plays Bail Organa's wife.

I thought it was Ashly Olsen.
