Listening to the New Emperor/Vader Dialoge,...it seems Vader doesn't know Luke is his son,..or that even he's Luke Skywalker.

But in the opening scroll and on the stardestroyer bridge, it seems liek he knows Luke. "Thatis the system and i'm sure Skywalker is with them"

My theory is that Vader has his own agenda with Luke, and doesn't want the emperor to know.....he wants to BE the emperor with luke by his side, so of course he wouold feign not to know who it is

I think Vader is just playing dumb when he talks to Palpy. Remember in ROTJ Ben tells Luke that he and Leia were "hidden from the Emperor" or something like that. Vader knows about Luke.

There is nothing wrong in believing that Vader always knew about his son. Seems to me like Vader always wanted to use his force-strong son in order to kill off the Emperor.

Good ol' Kiwis. It sort of sounds like he's saying that he's no good to his dad (hmmm, maybe Jango survived after all). So were the reports of the stromtroopers voices being redubbed false? People were saying they were but everyone has since been talking about Fett's voice and I haven't read a mention of the stormtroopers in these threads except for one opinion that the RotJ speeder troops were untouched. Are all the old stormtrooper voices intact?

Han and Luke would have to brush up on their accents for ANH if they had to speak New Zealand.

I think everyone can wait one month,after all we all waited so long for the realse of Star Wars DVD´s since the verry beginning(1997) or so.

DF was not the distributor of the jedi rip (the dvd-r rip is from the region 2 disc, DF has the region 1 set) the rip online originated from elsewhere ! all the other stuff online(non rotj i.e. screencaps audio files etc) came from DF, just not the actual movie!

ESB rip needs more seeders....this 7-10 kbps is driving me nuts....

I was seeding all day for the past couple of days and all night last night. I stopped it today because it slows down my computer and my connection and I really needed to use my computer. I will probably seed some more later.

Personally I think it's pretty funny that Clones would inherit an accent. I mean, its not like dialects and accents are embedded in the gene code. Its something you learn from your surroundings as you grow up. So sure, I can imagine Boba Fett getting the voice, but regarding the other Clones I AOTC...thats just ridicoulus.

Well, I take it the Kamino ppl are educated enough to realise the benefits of teaching their soldiers to speak whatever language and dialect their buyers wishes. If a galaxy far away allows language controll in genes, I would think they could use it in a better way then just replicating the host. But then again, maybe the Jango-talking is valuable in some ways I cannot foresee.

The clones and Boba take much instruction from Jango. Heck they are probably listening to Jango talk while wearing those weird headsets.

Temura 's voice doesn't even stand up to Jason Wingreen who by the way also portrayed the Bartender/Drinkin' Buddy to Archie Bunker on 'All in the Family'

I don't think there was anything wrong with the original voice. I just thought it was weird that in ESB, they kept calling him "bounty hunter" instead of Boba Fett, as if he wasn't important enough to be named, or he didn't have a name, or Lucas didn't decide on a name until ROTJ.

When I was younger I had no idea that Han was saying "Boba Fett" in ROTJ. I actually thought he was saying something like "moto pack" because he didn't understand what Chewy was trying to say to get him to swing around and hit the jet pack so Boba wouldn't hit Luke.

So I wish they said Boba in ESB. (I wish they said Mon Mothma in ROTJ.) But if hearing the voice of Boba makes the connection to the PT for some, then Lucas got his desired result because that's the only reason he probably changed it.

It annoys me too that they don't call him by his name in ESB...I mean he had a name. He was named in 1978!

Oh well, at least Tem voices Boba now. Helps the connection.

by giving him the same voice it would be easer for a new person watching the two trilogys to make the connection. that this is boba - jango sun.
