What are you talking about? Ewan's a much bigger star in the States than Natalie is. More people are likely to say Natalie who? What about Sam Jackson's foul mouth or Keira Knightley's underage nude scenes? These people are actors, not role models. They are not going to care how one role effects the other. Especially not Portman, who by all accounts, doesn't give a rat's ass about Star Wars.

Ewan was never a big star not by a long shot. If he was, he would have been in a shitload of hollywood movies not 3 or 4 movies since TPM came out. Nat starred in far more movies than Ewan ever did, tracing back to 1994's
The Professional. Kiera just started in America, She captialized on the American success of
TPM and rode on that success through
Bend It Like Beckham and
Pirates of the Caribbean. So Kiera's nude scenes pre-dates her American debut thus making your point moot. Samuel Jackson was doing movies ever since the 80's;both R-rated and family-oriented. If Nat didn't give a shit about SW and
Revenge of the Sith, Lucas could have fired her a long time ago and replaced her with Kiera since Kiera credits Lucas for her recent success (see: A episode of the Tonight Show in late June where she traces her success back to
TPM with Jay Leno) so If Nat were to be fired right now, Nat wouldn't give a shit, Kiera would have played the role of Padme like a glove and reshot all of Nat's acting because she loved doing SW. Lucas almost fired Nat, He would fire her at any given moment's notice and rehired Kiera within a heartbeat.
