As anyone had the chance to get a high resolution pictures of the DVD covers of the original Trilogy? Or maybe high resolution shots of the original/new logos for ESB and ROTJ?

Laurent sorry, not available yet as far as I know. However, I do have some hi-res versions of Drew Struzan's poster art if you want to cook up your own.

I cant seem to find them, I might have deleted them. www.prillaman.net/dvd-covers-starwars.html has a nice collection of covers, wait until that comes back up and you should be able to get them. I wish I could be of more help.

I do believe you're about to told to 'fuck off' and then, as a tip for the future, perhaps 'not to be such a cunt'.

I hate to say this, but those are the sorriest covers I've seen since this thing started being released for home viewing! Especially the ESB one. There must be something to this pink saber thing because it's pink on the cover! GL must be doing a deluxe release down the road because this first DVD release is looking to be just a bit subpar. :meatwad:

I love the new OT DVD Covers, they fit perfectly with the Episode I & II DVDs.
They fit so well together in fact, that rumor has it when the Episode III DVD comes out and you put all 6 DVD's together it'll open up a portal to Natalie Portmans bedroom.

Does it bother anyone else that the widescreen copies have the silver lettering on the side instead of the gold like 1 and 2?

Yes that is probably the only thing that bothers me about the covrers, i might just use the fullscreen dvd covers and the widescreen discs so i can get the uniform look.

I say they're Platinum :P
Platinum > Gold

Besides Episode I and II are out of print, they're going to re-release them (most likely with platinum lining) soon no doubt with CG Yoda in Episode I.
I would like it if AOTC didn't re-use TPM's score and didn't have the Clone War portion and lightsaber fights butchered.

Ah, yes, just looked and that is indeed you. I go by sauron41 over there. IMHO I prefer Scara's covers, but that isn't to shabby.

Hell, *I* Prefer Scara's covers.

I just decided to do something different, liked the idea of covers that looked like hardback books. Was thinking of coming up with a version with no artwork on it, with "Journal of the Whills" stamped on the front.

English is my second language! GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!

I didn't know that you guys require newbie to tame each of you individually, to learn how you live your life, and to write about how clever your guys are for designing a board dedicated to Star Wars with Metallica and Led Zeppelin fonts, before asking something as simple as Star Wars logos and covers!

Haven't you notice that I found some of them myself (they're in german, but whatever), and did forward you to a thread filled with this kind of stuff?!

Of course I understand that the Militia and Reservation board is pure nonesense and shouldn't be taken seriously.

I'm just messing around.
