Howdy folks, long time no see. I know I don't come by anymore. To be honest I forgot about this board and A LOT has happened since my last visit here. I got married two years ago and my life has just been crazy since my last visit. Anyways the reason why I came back is because I got a message from Thundercracker asking me to re-upload my Star Wars Prequel edits. I saw that the ones posted here were ones I made in 2012. I knew those were outdated and sure enough they are. The new ones are a lot better. As a bonus I included my remastered edits of the Original Trilogy and my edits for TFA and TLJ although I did NOT remaster those two at least not yet.

All three Prequel utilize synth mockups that were done by other people.
Both AOTC and ROTS feature rear channel DVD rips for some transitions here and there but were necessary. They really aren't that noticeable in my opinion.

Episode I The Phantom Menace is 100% complete with the synth mockups and in proper order with the real cue names and slate numbers.

Episode II Attack Of The Clones is 100% complete with the synth mockups as well with the real cue names and slate numbers.

Episode III Revenge Of The Sith is not quite complete. It's missing about 10 minutes or so of music. It does have the real cue name and slate numbers.

Star Wars (ANH) is complete and has proper cue titles and slate numbers.

Episode V The Empire Strikes Back is complete and has proper cue titles and slates.

Episode VI Return Of The Jedi is complete and has proper cue titles and slates.

Episode VII The Force Awakens is as complete as it's going to get. An isolated style score surfaced not too long ago. It's obvious someone made an edit of it from the sessions but doesn't
quite match up what's heard in the film. For example "Hiding Under The Grate" in the film goes into track music towards the end but this has a proper fade out before the tracked music.

Episode VIII The Last Jedi. This is as complete as it's going to get. It was edited from the OST, FYC and a supposed lossless isolated score that was given a legit release.

Episode IX Rise Of Skywalker. There is an FYC for this but I have yet to do a custom edit of using the OST and FYC. Not sure when I'll get to it.

All three scores have tracks properly separated well except a few for Attack Of The Clones. IE: Love Pledge / Entrance Of The Monsters. Those that are still joined like from the OST they haven't surfaced separated yet. Not sure if they every will be.

I did make "Ultimate Edition" style edits for both ATOC and ROTS. Although both especially Revenge Of The Sith have rear channel DVD rips as well but some cues the sfx are prominaent for ROTS for example "Padmé Visits" since only half that cue has leaked via games the missing material had to be filled in with rear channel rips. I don't know if I will upload them but if anyone here does want them I can upload them.

With the amount of music that has surfaced for AOTC in the games especially from The Old Republic which is where most of it surfaced I've grown to appreciate it and like it A LOT more. For some reason though the game music editors used film stems instead of the sessions like with TPM and ROTS material. Despite a lot of cues having clean intros and endings the music in between is definitely the film stems. Practically another TPM "Ultimate Edition".

Anyways enough babbling here are my new and improved edits for you as well as my remastered Original Trilogy scores, enjoy! all and Happy New Year 2020.

PS: I forgot to mention I did save everything as flac to preserve quality. A lot of the material is from lossy sources. All files were "zipped" using winrar for faster uploading.

Oh and ROTJ needs to stay EXCLUSIVE to this forum please. I wouldn't mind feedback on how everything sounds especially for ROTJ.

Glad you're enjoying it. Ya the original opening for "Goodbye, Old Friend" in my opinion is much better than the tracked music from "Dialogue With Mace".

These are great! I'm thoroughly enjoying now being able to listen to the prequel scores in their entirety! TPM remains my favorite prequel score, I think it's an underated Williams masterpiece. I still feel AOTC is the weakest of the prequel scores but now that it can be listened to in full on its own does give me a better appreciation for it. It still grinds my gears that Williams didn't get to score much of reel 6 with original music. It's nice to finally hear the original ending that was supposed to accompany the Clone deployment finale. I've been wanting to hear that version ever since I first read that Williams had originally written an "orchestral blowout" for the finale and that the Imperial March insert was a re-score or whatever. It sounds cool in its own right but I'm not sure I prefer one over the other, although I think the March works just fine too.

One quick question regarding the ROTS score, is there a lot of material that didn't get used in the film? I haven't watched the film in ages but there's portions from various cues ("The Elevator Scene" and "I Am The Senate" to name a couple) that I don't recall hearing in the film.

Yes quite a bit of material from ROTS wasn't used and or was tracked. Particularly the beginning of the film. 90% of that was cut out. "I Am The Senate" was chopped up (and some of it dropped) because of the reshoots of that sequence and I don't think Williams had time to go back and rescore the scene properly. For "I Am The Senate" there was music that was supposed to be during the part where Palpatine is shooting lightning at Mace and he's reflecting it away from him. From 2:24-3:43 of that cue WAS supposed to be in the film but even then that part got trimmed a bit and music doesn't quite match the finished film.

Edit: Another example of dropped music entirely was the first 51 seconds of "Palpatine Instructs Anakin".
