Including all TROS videos. The ratios aren't even being bombed.

Something big is going down.

This is insane. I haven't even seen crazy trolling from TFM and the like/dislike ratio isn't being bombed.
Something set this off.

I don't think the big wigs at disney are happy, but, if all the stuff I was told is true and they meddled with the movie like crazy they have no one but themselves to blame.
What do you guys think?

What do you think is the link between comments being disabled and "something big?" Just feels to me like a band aid has been applied by the social team over there.

They had to know they're fucked. They had to know that we know everything now.

Wanna bet they'll rush out the JJ/Lucas cut on disc just to satisfy us?

Guys, calm down with these dumb conspiracy theories, u especially, Freezus. It’s not just Star Wars that has deleted comments, it’s also Sonic The Hedgehog’s newest trailer, Sesame Street videos and other types of videos. It’s not just Star Wars where the comments are disabled.

Lol now you’re going full Kyle on me. I was always calm. Not sure how you misconstrued that as yelling or anything like that. I told you many many times I’m simply disappointed in Disney. Why don’t you just go back to your petty slap fight with Kyle?

Guys, the Becoming Vader featurette, like 15 years old, put on the channel almost 10 years ago, has its comments disabled.

Something is brewing. We all feel it. Some are in denial. Why lock all of your comments, which is engagement, which drives the google algorithm? It makes no sense unless they're preparing for some massive backlash or something. And this coincides with the release the JJ cut trending at like number 1 on twitter. people are pissed.

Not really.

It's one thing to disable comments for a single video, another to disable comments for EVERY SINGLE VIDEO SPANNING THE CHANNEL'S HISTORY! And what you're saying is a logical fallacy. I never said that was the reason, I said that it makes no sense unless they were pre-empting something. Which I believe is probably the case. It's costing them money.

I'm deluded and crazy? Okay bro come at me. I've been posting with the whole spoiler crowd for 20 years. You'd think someone would have come up with that earlier.

Have you guys heard about COPPA? About YouTube users being forced to declare if their content is addressed to children or not?
Perhaps soon you will not find any comments under such content. And Star Wars, whether we like it or not, IS addressed to children.

But I may be wrong, of course :).

I don't buy it with a franchise that has been PG-13 for the past 15 years and would have been back in the 80s as well. Also, the dismemberments. The Marvel channel isn't disabled so your point is moot.

Nintendo is primarily for kids if you want to be technical, though I love my switch and nintendo games, and their comments are up and running.

Nope. Sorry just nope.

also.

There is a separate official Star Wars You Tube channel called Star Wars Kids. They have the Force for Diversity and Galaxy of Adventures animation series and the other stuff aimed at the kids.

Star Wars was never meant for the kids. I mean, in the rough cut of A New Hope (We've seen hints of this with the extended early Cantina sequences with "Jenny" and everything,) The dismemberments in this cut was a lot more grotesque than in the final cut. Now you just see an arm and blood.

Even Empire had a Wampa with a bloody mouth at the VERY beginning of the movie gnawing on a bloody animal part. In a lot of deleted scenes involving the Wampas, There was a lot of blood (not horror movie level amount, mind you.) In the cut scenes with the Wampa there was a lot of human killing.

ROTS had Anakin cutting down CHILDREN. Like, REAL human children.

So tell me again, how is SW for kids? That's like saying the PS5 is going to be catered to the kids only when it includes EVERY kind of gamers.

George Lucas has said for decades that Star Wars is for 12-year-olds.

Teenagers not Nintendo-level kids.

SW is equal to how Sony is catering PS4 and by extension PS5 to teenagers and adults that has grown up with a PlayStation ever since PS1. Sony sells what? Games that can pass for PG-13 or a hard R.

Try again, Royalguard.

Yes and I'd say Nintendo is the same. Yet. Their channel hasn't had comments disabled. The whole comments disabled is to protect against pedophiles. This would not apply to SW. Please try again.

George Lucas has been known to change his mind sometimes like whether stormtroopers were clone troopers or not. Not a good idea to say something like that.

Yeah, I should really know better than to type something that's factually accurate.

"George Lucas has said Star Wars was made for 12-year-olds."

Not sure how you guys are trying to pigenhole that sentence into this bizarre argument, but it's one area he's been incredibly consistent on for many years.

Then, why did he try to do a mature adult-like series for HBO with what would’ve been Star Wars: Underworld.

That’s a different story because it was TV-PG-V, not TV-14 or TV-MA.

Yet, Jedi Fallen Order still made bank is one of the Top 5 rated SW games on EA. You only want Star Wars to move away from kids because you think “SW for kids, bad. SW fro adults with R rating and blood and gore and violence, good”.

Fallen Order is incredible. You are twisting my words. It's just ridiculous that Disney mandated no dismemberment of people when SW has a history of beheadings, hands getting chopped off, etc. ANH, ESB, ROTJ, TPM, and AOTC were rated PG and had dismemberments. All of them.

I do not want SW to move away from GL's vision. I don't want an R rated SW. I don't like blood and gore either.

Try harder child.

What makes me emo? I'm not a Kylo Ren fan like you probably are. You just love to throw out insults without any substance. I actually feel sorry for you.

I don't know what portion of any of this doesn't make sense from ki adi's well reasoned statement.

Disney LOSE MONEY? No way do they want to do that!

Want proof to see how goddamned vile a corporation Disney is?

They KILLED a story exposing an INTERNATIONAL CHILD RAPE ENSLAVEMENT RING FOR THE WORLD'S ELITES for over THREE YEARS! Had it not been leaked by a very rightfully upset Disney (via ABC News) employee, that story would STILL be killed...!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrM9iE_D8yE

Disney would rather have MORE GIRLS RAPED than post a story that could LITERALLY SAVE LIVES.

Aww, "...that was an innocent mistake, Kyle, they're taking huge steps to avoid that again..."

Where's your PROOF?

Huh?!

WHERE IS IT!!!!!!

Because I have proof APLENTY that Disney THRIVES on covering up grotesque injustices because it MAKES THEM MONEY.

How about the PUBLIC BEATING OF A WOMAN WHO WAS ALSO PUBLICLY RAPED BY CONOR McGREGOR?!!! This is a GUARANTEED slam-dunk case. He should be in jail RIGHT NOW for what he did, but NOPE!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_eCI-gb1m8

He's scheduled for a Disney (via ESPN) fight that could see him take home close to $80 MILLION DOLLARS! Estimates are that this fight alone could net Disney close to a billion dollars!

Surely there'll be justice some day?

Dream on...! :vfuckoff:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GVd8A5CRJQ

So, is ki adi moonshine right? From here, it's hard to see how he's wrong.

Ki Adi, After reading the batshit crazy conspiracy theory above... do you still miss Kyle?

I never watched or have bought most of Disney movies since what, the early 00's. I only found the Wreck-it Ralph films to be entertaining because they appealed to me as a gamer. So I didn't really lose that much sleep over all the dumb shit that the company has done over the years.

Besides, Conor is moving to WWE soon and guess what? Disney doesn't own WWE.
