VIEW: (1080p)

Reminder: Kim Dotcom's megaupload successor mega.nz requires one of more following to download files:

1. Browser extension
2. Desktop and-or phone app
3. mega.nz account for the previous two

Note: The Google-Free Chromium seems able to download without any additional apps, browser extensions, registrations.

However for testing purposes I have all three installed. I chose mega.nz for file retention, speed and historical (megaupload) purposes. If there are other file hosts or file types preferred please either post or send private message. All 1080p have subtitles. The files are by "Goki" of H33T-successor 1337xt.to due to file quality and commenter reviews. If anyone sees preferable rips (with subtitles for German, French, Scandinavian, Slavic languages) please post or send private message.

I was pretty disappointed with this episode. Not as confused with finding itself as the first episode was, but, sad to say, this episode was even clunkier than E01. That TV budget really showed.

Honestly, The Expanse's special effects are consistently more convincing than what we're seeing half the time in The Mandalorian.

And this episode's writing... It felt like a typical TV show. It had none of that cool and tense Lone Wolf & Cub vibe to it either. It strongly reminded me of the old live action The Incredible Hulk TV series that starred Lou Ferrigno. I was practically expecting the Mandalorian to take his helmet off and we'd see the head of Bill Bixby there.

And that scout walker - was it pilotless? It sure looked like it.
Was it outfitted with a Super Battledroid's brain? I don't know.
Don't really care. Such a clunky episode.

The melee fighting looked dreadful. Without question, the worst of all of the series so far. The acting was subpar, sometimes awful. The woman from Deadpool - yeah, she should not get another acting job ever. It felt like a filler type episode. We don't need those, at all. Disney + needs to stay away from episodes such as these like the plague they are.

I liked the change of pace of this episode, but it basically felt like filler-fodder, and a way to introduce the new character. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I liked it. It's an obvious nod to Kurosawa but it's something many others have done since - including Lucas and Filoni on The Clone Wars series. While l appreciate the change of pace, l hope they step it up in next weeks episode. I still like it a lot more than the sequel trilogy.

Still better than the sequels, but as the only live action Star Wars show, it still feels extremely unadventurous and safe.

I didn't mind this episode it basically confirmed the Mando just can't rest up at any backwater planet and "wait it out".

I think Moff Gideon may be introduced in the next ep and I think the Cara Dune character will be teaming up.

Hopefully we see a continuation of the flashback scene. Wil it be Bo Katarn saving the young Mando? Will we see a young Boba?

The rumor is that Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan saves young Mando.

I say the flashback scenes are either pulled from, or referenced to, the Siege of Mandalore episodes in the new season of Clone Wars.

Nope. Can’t happen because the Separatists weren’t part of the Siege of Mandalore arc in The Clone Wars.
