Guys...

Just got back from the theater a few hours ago. This rapturous ode to pop culture fires on all cylinders and is now perhaps my most favorite Spielberg-in-popcorn-movie-mode movie.

Made, without a doubt, almost exclusively for folks like us.

Incredible. :monocles:

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't that charged up about this one, but I'll definitely check it out.

Its a save bluray buy for me...considering even getting the steelbook if one is released in germany.

Loved this movie, hope this gets enough success to remind Disney they have a 3rd Tron movie to make.

I was weirdly enthusiastic about this one some months ago. I've tamed on it a bit since then. A very unique movie but not quite my favorite Spielberg-in-popcorn-movie-mode movie.

What sticks with me the most about the film is its capturing the mystery and delight associated with discovering easter eggs. I'll probably lose some of you with this but the 1999 LucasArts game, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, had some awesomely elaborate easter eggs that kinda reminded me of the ones in RPO.

Under the right circumstances, finding an easter egg can feel like experiencing a fully lucid dream. That's the magic this movie mined like no other.
