The confirmation of Canto Bight only pisses me off more that Billy Dee Williams is not in this film. :whatevaho:

It is a fucking disgrace that room could not be made for that guy.

Who couldn't see him in a scene on this casino planet having a quick heart-to-heart with Poe about Han.

You simply make it that he knows Poe from the time period between ROTJ and TFA and the scene writes itself.

I don't know, but I'm reasonably sure that Lando's absence isn't Disney's doing. It's not like Disney has a personal vendetta against Billy D.

I walked next to Billy D at a Star Wars Celebration. He was in a wheelchair. And that was in 2005, at the second Indianapolis celebration. I doubt he can do much physically at this point.

I met him in California last fall. His health seems fine now. He was quite jovial and certainly walking around.

I think he is probably talking about some young actor trying to play Lando in that solo Han Solo schlock.
