I'd still love to see David Fincher take on one of these films.

I'd say a solo Boba Fett film would be right up his alley.

That would be way cool!

I recall he was offered one of the new films initially but declined because he thinks Star Wars lost its way when it wasn't from the perspective of Threepio and Artoo anymore.

And I somewhat agree with that. They should be the observers that tell the story of the Skywalker saga, but the PT basically broke that idea.

I liked the pattern developing of one a year at Christmastime. One year Anthology, one year Saga... Hopefully increasing the rate works out.

House of Mouse won't go up against itself. It'll move, especially with Episode IX being the more "family friendly" of the two.

I think IX will stay in May. Christmas time of 2019 is now for Frozen 2 and another film which could be that live action Winnie the Pooh movie with Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin.
