I noticed that at first too, but then I noticed something else even more significant which I posted in the "Rey Theory" thread that I'll copy & paste here too:

I think the speculation about Rogue One's female lead eventually becoming Luke's wife and Rey's mother might be true. Remember how people speculated that Kylo Ren could be Han & Leia's son because Kylo could be the "ky" in Skywalker (Leia's original surname) and the "lo" in Solo? Well the female lead in Rogue One is called Jyn Erso and that's an anagram of Rey Jones. (If you use the "e" twice.) The actress playing Jyn is Felicity Jones. Definitely strong evidence I think. :jedi:

Wow, that's an interesting catch, would have been stronger if you didn't have to use the "e" twice but still pretty clever. Funny how we are all working on deciphering Star Wars as if it were Enigma. I had the impression that the inspiration behind Kylo Ren's name was "Kybo Ren" a character from the "Droids" cartoon. I can see how the "l" could have been added to replace the "b" as a reference to being half-Solo.

If Jyn Erso ends up remaining an imperial agent she could end up having a similar backstory to Luke's EU wife, but I think they are going to have to give her a very interesting background indeed if she's the one replacing Mara Jade.

Mads Mikkelsen confirmed today that he's playing Jyn's father (which was rumored earlier). It sounds interesting, but they need to try much harder to reach Mara Jade level of "interesting" ;) .

Perhaps her father is Lor San Tekka?
