The Premiere is tomorrow, 12/14. I will be signing off MF and the majority of internet sites until after Thursday. I'm digging the secrecy around the story after spoiling myself silly with Episodes I-III. I'll be seeing the marathon 7-movie showing in San Francisco followed by IMAX later in the night.

From the trailers, there are many things I love and a few things that might not sit well. Without a doubt, the marketing has been brilliant and I feel that little tingle in my gut, taking me right back to childhood.

I'll leave with a fantastic fan-edited trailer.

May the Force be with us.

Good luck staying spoiler free Topeka. Enjoy the marathon and see you on the flip side.

What a great time this is for us. I have my tickets for the 7:30 p.m. premier Thursday night and am anxiously awaiting the dim of the lights and the glow of the Lucasfilm logo. I truly never thought this day would come.

I hope everyone enjoys their experiences, and I look forward to reading all of your thoughts, and sharing my own, in just a few days.

Good luck, I'm about to do the same... I made it this far, I don't want to get spoiled.

Curious: What few things did not sit well? I can't tell a single thing from the trailers I dont like.

Absolutely!

I won't be posting any spoilers in here until later in the week out of respect to my USA brethren (spoiler tags scream clickbait)

Seeing this in 13 hours time. Hard to believe that tomorrow morning I will be watching a sequel to Return of the Jedi.

I will not be spoiling anything but will be around if anyone has any general questions.

Five past twelve am on Wednesday 2d, with an option for another viewing in 3D on Thursday morning proper. To all of you lucky bastards getting a first viewing at an IMAX cinema, how i envy you.

I had the good fortune to have a centre seat for Guardians. The detail and depth of field, never mind the 3D. An exceptional experience to put it mildly. I look forward to reading all the opinions post viewing.

I have tickets to a private screening but on the 21st so I'll have to try and avoid the internet through the weekend. I'll definitely want to read some non-spoiler impressions from everybody though.

Just got out. No spoilers.

Very good with minor quibbles. Sets things up nicely. Needs another viewing to absorb it all.

The new cast are superb and that bodes well for the next two episodes. First and last quarters are the strongest by far - middle section is a little muddled.
Humour works well and is not forced.

How many surprises there actually are will depend on how spoiled you are. Pretty much everything that has leaked has been right on the money.

In a way it does play like an "awesome mix tape" of the original trilogy, and that is both a strength and a weakness.

Looking forward to seeing it again to tomorrow without the weight of expectation.

Who does Warwick Davis play and is he masked or not? (That's not really a spolier, right? Unless his character's identity is a major plot point or something, in which case don't reveal it.)

I'll be honest - I didn't even know he had a role. Must have been a token small masked part. You certainly don't see his face at any stage.

Oh, OK. Maybe he's one of these 3 then?

Possibly. All backgrounds characters though. Not even sure they all get screen time.

Weird. I would have thought he would either have a small speaking role or at least be involved in some kind of action. Especially since he made a video announcing his involvement. I thought that maybe he played Nien Nunb but I checked and the original actor, Mike Quinn, reprised his role. (Edit: I also just realised Nien Nunb is about a foot taller than Warwick. Doh!)

Hope everyone has a blast seeing TFA.
Its hard to believe its actually here at last. The journey so far has been amazing & I've relived the anticipation & excitement all over again through my kids. Its brought so many happy memories flooding back from my own childhood.
We're not seeing it until the 23rd so desperately trying to stay spoiler free.
From the Twitter reports I've seen everything looks very positive so I'm hoping for the best.

Dammit why is everyone seeing it BEFORE anyone who lives in Los Angeles? I hope you can appreciate the irony. ;)
