Jedi Star Destroyers and fighters and donut ships (mmm.. donuts) and explosions and fighers and Coruscant and fighters and donut ships and fighters and other cool stuff.

Oh, and some guy talking about the animatics. Like the opening shot description... I'm too busy to read. Too busy looking at the pics.

Man, I'm having trouble understanding what he is talking about throughout half of the article.

and the new jedi star destroyers just about made me crap myself. Coolest looking capital ship ever!

EXT. SPACE
TITLE CARD: A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

A vast sea of stars serves as the backdrop for the main title, followed by a roll up, which crawls into infinity.

EPISODE III:

For three years the great Clone War
has ravaged the galaxy. Starvation and
misery stalk countless worlds.

Although near defeat, Count Dooku
and his Confederacy of Independent
Systems have masterminded the capture
of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.

With the mighty Armada of the Republic
behind them, Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi
and Anakin Skywalker pursue Dooku and
his sinister agents across the galaxy...

PAN DOWN to reveal two JEDI STARFIGHTERS flying in perfect sync. The lower half of a STAR DESTROYER comes into view and the JEDI fly past the bottom of it. The starfighters suddenly fall downward past a wall of SEPARATIST CRUISERS that are trying to escape from the planet of CORUSCANT and through the blockade of STAR DESTROYERS.

TRI-FIGHTERS are dispatched from the TRADE FEDERATION CORESHIP and begin their attack against the DESTROYERS. The JEDI make their way towards the FEDERATION FLAGSHIP where a signal from Jedi Knight, SHAAK-TI, is being emitted. Suddenly, the TRI-FIGHTERS dispatch their boosters.

INT. COCKPIT, JEDI STARFIGHTER - CORUSCANT - DAWN

OBI-WAN listens as other pilots report incoming enemy starships. R4-P17 sits on the wing.

INT. COCKPIT, JEDI STARFIGHTER - CORUSCANT - DAWN

ANAKIN sits at the controls wearing a metallic headband. Red lights begin to activate as enemy fire approaches. ANAKIN looks towards ARTOO DETOO. An explosion rocks ANAKIN SKYWALKER's starship as gunfire destorys a JEDI STARFIGHTER. The TRI-FIGHTERS fly past the ANAKIN's STARFIGHTER.

The STARFIGHTERS continue to make their way towards the FEDERATION FLAGSHIP. The FLAGSHIP turns and begins to fire its turbo lasers towards the DESTORYERS.

There...that should make it a little more interesting.

"Basically, we pan down to see the Jedi cruiser -- the triangle ship -- and two Jedi fighters fly into camera-view, and we follow."

Does anyone get the feeling the opening is going to be a humourous reverse of the opening of ANH, with the camera panning down so we see a Star Destroyer slowly pass beneath us as opposed to over the top of us?

I guess that after this, Obi-Wan's ship is attacked and R4-P17 is knocked out sending Obi-Wan crash landing inside the hangar of the Federation Flagship.

d) never = near when you have tickets

btw - these animatics prove why artwork (of all flavors) rule over production photos.

Gimme a couple of these a week and you can keep the BTH series until next year.

Oh...well you can go to the PLOT thread in this forum. Plus, I will try to get EP's info added in. A basic plot for the beginning of the movie is getting easier.

I was hoping this was from the "leak" that was rumored to be on the horizon.

I don't understand why the post notes don't get the front page respect they deserve. I checked the OS tonight and didn't know this was up until I checked this forum. Even on the "latest Hyperspace Updates" page the stupid cartoon thing got top billing.


This post notes is kick ass. Some great pictures, some great descriptions. All I can say is that this battle better deliver with all the hype they're giving it.

But from what I've read it'd be hard to fuck it up.
