TFA_Spoilerboard.pdf

this is a "theorized" plot summary .pdf with embedded pics that has been updated with the new trailer. Called TFA_Spoilerboard.pdf, it seems like they have most of the first and second acts down pretty well, with pieces of the third act in place as well. Pretty logical conclusions backed up with pics from trailers, artwork, and such.

worth a look!

I love that this trailer alludes to the idea that post-RotJ something seriously fucked-up happened in the galaxy.

Also, in case no one has noticed, Leia has a ceremonial garb. ;)

Finn isn't the only one wearing that coat.

Did anyone manage to grab the 1080p file of the trailer before the link went down? If so, how about an up? :)

The very first piece of music is actually by an artist called Phillip Sheppard - the track was originally titled The Epiphany and is now available as the Force Epiphany:

philipsheppard.bandcamp.com /strange-news-from-another-star/

The music-only edit is phenomenal though, really wish it was from TFA.

One other thing I've noticed about the trailer, at the point when Ren is approaching Finn with saber drawn, he's not wearing the mask. I'd missed that the first dozen times I watched it.

How can you tell that hes not wearing the mask? We see him from behind? Hard to tell.

Thanks for the download link, Topeka. The links never went down but I had to use Chrome to get the file. Wouldn't work otherwise. Odd.

Yes, its quite funny!

It still proves that Jar jar is the worst thing that Lucas did to SW. I know, dead horse alert. Sorry! :funkyvfuckoff:

Lawrence Kasdan suggested that Lando would be back in Episode VIII and there are rumours that he might even have a cameo in The Force Awakens, so here's my prediction based on that pic: Finn is Lando's son and is killed by Kylo Ren at the end of The Force Awakens. The last scene of the movie is Han contacting Lando to tell him Finn has been killed and the last line of the movie is Lando crying "Kylooo!" (Like Darth Vader crying "Nooo!" in the Spanish version of Revenge Of The Sith. Spanish because I found out that version's "Nooo!" sounded better than the English version's.) Episode VIII will be called Lando's Revenge.

No, because there's a relations theme running through the Star Wars Saga. OK, so currently it's just the Skywalker family, but why can't Lando have a son in the new movies too? Regardless of what happens I do think Finn is Lando's son anyway since they said that they weren't revealing Finn's surname for a reason. So it's probably Calrissian, although I suppose it could possibly be Windu! We never actually saw Mace die so there's a possibility he survived (fell into a passing speeder or managed to grab onto one with one hand) and had 1 child or more who also had 1 child or more so Finn could be his grandson. (Or if Mace did die maybe he had a secret child already.)

I don't believe Finn is Lando's son because the character was written and conceptualized without a particular race in mind. In the concept art Finn is white.

Now that he's black they could connect him to previous bloodlines, but I don't see much point as it adds little to the character. Not to mention it starts making our revered heroes look like really terrible people, being absentee parents.

My vote: outside of the Skywalker family, which drive the narrative of these movies, stop with the family connections. It provides negative value.

The script could have changed since the concept art. And did it actually say Finn? Maybe originally he was meant to be Jacen?

Does Finn being Obi-Wan's son count as "raping my childhood?"

Asking for a friend...

I'll put my neck on the block here...I think Finn is nobody's relation. He's just a nobody at the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time & is thrown into the mix by yet untold events.

Take Biggs as an example... Granted he didn't have as bigger part as Finn but going from past reports, he jumped ship to join the rebellion then took part in their greatest battle, the destruction of the first Death Star.

As stated by Finn in the trailer "I was raised to do one thing, but I've got nothing to fight for."

To me that indicates that he doesn't agree with The First Order's intentions which is why he defects to The Resistance.

Just because there is a suggestion that Rey is a key classic characters offspring doesn't mean anyone else has to be, AND there's no guarantee that he is going to survive the whole movie judging from the saber battle he has with Kylo.

Just my own opinion, for what its worth.

I agree with this view, and hope this is what happens. I hope that Rey is the one of the Skywalker bloodline, and that Finn follows the hero's journey path of being thrust into events, and forced to make decisions, which are not within the scope of his anticipated existence.

It's an interesting line this one:
