Still don't like the idea of a non-Skywalker using a Skywalker's lightsaber. I think it should be kept in the family.

I'm assuming of course that Finn is not a Skywalker, because if he is that will be retarded.

This could still go so many ways of awesome, yet also so many ways of WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING????

I'm starting to think that Finn might be Luke's apprentice/Padawan/whatever.

Or the courier of the lightsaber to its owner. Still, it's a bit convenient that it was recovered from Bespin in the first place.

That makes sense. Early on, Boyega's character was described as the "Luke" of the new trilogy.

I don't have a problem with the lightsaber being recovered on Bespin. Although it's sort of implied, we don't actually know if that "thing" tumbling into the clouds after Luke is ejected from Cloud City chute was his lightsaber.

It could have still been in that massive facility. And even if it did reach Bespin's surface, I don't have too hard a time buying the idea that it was recovered in the 30 years following return of the Jedi by someone obsessed with finding it.

I do have a hard time making sense of Luke, Obi-wan, Han Solo or any white character having a black child.

Virgin births, telekinesis, mind tricks, sound in space, etc.

I can take a little interracial birthing or whatever-the-fuck genetic anomaly is being bandied about here. Bring it on.

And I don't recall major protest about a white, blonde, blue-eyed child coming from nothing being white, blonde and blue-eyed.
