Okay... that was time I will never, ever get back.

This movie has to be the biggest clusterfuck in the history of clusterfucked movies. Josh Trank will be lucky if he gets another directing gig due to his reported unprofessional behavior and otherwise acting like a total asshat during filming. Good job Fox, this is what happens when you rush a film into production simply to avoid losing the rights back to another company along with having no idea whatsoever as to handle the property.

Poor Fantastic Four. This disaster may have tarnished the property forever at least as a movie franchise. Who knows what Fox is going to do with it from here on out and even if Marvel Studios somehow got the rights back, they'd have their work cut out for them in restoring the material to some respectability.

Without defending Trank too much (all reports point to him being a colossal dork), this final film was a product of the studio taking control. Reportedly as much as 40% was reshot. Trank may have had a vision that conflicted with what the studio ultimately wanted. It is also unfortunate his antics have put a damper on his career.

This movie was so terrible that Marvel literally cancelled the comic series.
