This Friday, the world premiere of Star Wars Episode VII trailer will be revealed at select North America theatres.

An early 88-second tease of Star Wars: The Force Awakens can be seen in 30 theaters across North America beginning Friday morning, November 28. Following this weekend, the tease can be seen in theaters around the world this December.

God loves me. My office is in the Yonge and Dundas theatre building in Toronto.

I just spoke to management at the Irvine Spectrum and they told me the teaser should be attached to all films showing that day except IMAX (didn't think that was made clear in the original announcement).

Gotta believe this is probably just a one week advance preview as the first week of December is fast approaching.

That's great news. Assuming that your brain survives the experience of new John Williams' music plus the cinematic reemergence of the Millennium Falcon: I look forward to reading your usual unfiltered opinion.

You better believe I am going to see this thing 10 times that day.

There's a moment at the very end of ROTJ just as Luke is watching the Force ghosts of Ben, Yoda & Anakin appear and Leia comes over to Luke as if to ask "is everything OK?" It's a very small moment, but the look Mark gives back to Carrie as if to say "Yes, everything's great," is just so genuine and so gratifying that I couldn't imagine a better end to the saga. My greatest hope is that what we see Friday brings me right back to that moment of joy at the end of ROTJ and I think to myself "this needed to be told. It's on."

I'm closest to the Cleveland and Chicago locations, but it's still a 5 - 6 hour drive.

As long as the trailer doesn't show Luke Skywalker on a motorcycle with a pack of friendly raptors going to fight the Sith I think it'll be ok.

I think we are going to get something that helps place Episode VII within in the greater saga.

Seeing old Luke, Han or Leia will be a thrill. Dialogue would be extra special but I'm not expecting it.

2 rumors I've read multiple times today.

- A 60sec teaser will run during one of the 3 NFL games tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

- A leaked pic of the Millennium Falcon in flames was leaked prematurely by one of the theater chains with their announcement.

Unable to confirm either, highly skeptic of both, but would welcome to be proved wrong.

I think the anticipation is greater this time around as its Han, Leia, Chewie ect. While the prequels were exciting times it wasn't about the classic characters. To me that's what Star Wars is...the original cast members/characters.

They were the ones I grew up with back in the 70's/80's...they are the ones im most interested in. Im building my hopes up on anything massively special for the teaser....that's all it is, a teaser but it will be amazing to see the old gang back together again!

Personally speaking, living in the UK, Saturday morning cant come soon enough...curse the time difference!!!! ;P

Still hasn't fully hit me that there will be a new SW trailer in a few hours! I remember watching that EP1 teaser in '99 in a tiny tiny quicktime video back then. Remember the first shot of the mist? Oh man. It looked like made by god. Hope this one actually is just a good movie. Nothing will ever beat ESB or ANH and im ok with that. But JJ come on, just a decent SW movie.

So when does it show?
