Although I do like the stage setting with these two divided worlds, this looks pretty generic. Perhaps it's just the design of the trailer.

Reminds me of another family-oriented animated film, Epic, that was released last year.

Didn't even get a Bluray release. Never seen that before.

Saw it. Kinda overly cutesy kitsch but visually splendid (LOVE those moments when the creators play with kaleidoscopic imagery) and the catchy music and story kept it all going for me. Wasn't so bad.
