This ain't good. Though it could be a good omen since Ford tore his ACL on the set of Raiders.

To be fair, that CG work is almost 20 years old.

The non-CGI shots of Han walking are nearly 40 years old, and they look alright... ;) *jumps and high fives pjvader*

Just a wild guess based on other behind the scenes stories I've heard over the years: I imagine the six month recoup time is more a condition of the insurance company that's bonding the film rather than Ford's own willingness to return to filming.

If they have hired Max Von Sydow and not made him the villain of this movie, then they may have missed a - albeit it predictable - trick...

I agree. A broken leg is painful and requires attention to rehab, and we're talking about a man in his 70s. And we're talking about an action movie. This isn't the same as filming around a pregnant mid-section, as I keep reading people compare it to.

These guys are such sleeze, but it's a good sign to see Ford recovering well. He even flashes a bit of that Han Solo smile.

If JJ totally crushes it, I mean kills Episode VII - makes it one of the best Star Wars movies to date - are we going to be disappointed he was never given the chance to helm Episode VIII? It kind of rubs me the wrong way that we know he's not directing Episode VIII and we are 500 days from VII's release.

I have a feeling an announcement of some kind is imminent.

Regarding Ford... it's gonna take him a long time to get back to normal with his injury especially being older. I broke my right ankle last year and even after a year and half later it still hurts like a bitch a lot of times (especially when storms move in).

I'm actually a little slower at walking now too than I use to be. I don't like walking fast that much now because it hurts to much to do so.

Hopefully Ford doesn't rush things and break it again...
