From when Curry was first announced, we heard a lot from Filoni and some of the voice cast was how great Curry's Sidious voice was, which we never got to hear. By the time of Rebels, the Emperor is in Sidious mode full time, so I'm willing to give him a chance even if I wasn't a fan of his Supreme Chancellor voice like most of you. Sam Witwer also does a great OT-era Emperor in the Force Unleashed.

It seems that Mark Hamill said in CEII that he has voiced a Sith Lord for an (yet unaired) TCW episode.

Tom Kane has confirmed that they have recorded a full season and that they indeed have finished (animation and all) at least two arcs with 4 episodes each. Plus the two episodes that got cut from the previous season, we can already count with half a season of finished material.

Thanks for posting. It seems definite that Ahsoka's coming back. What he says about Rebels having a less geometrical style is curious. So far, I'm not seeing that to a large extent.

Yeah, they've mentioned several times now that the character art style is different, but if you told me that Inquisitor render was for TCW I wouldn't bat an eye. Wait and see, I guess.

As for Ahsoka, I think she'll turn up eventually but I don't think she's going to be a main character or show up any time soon. Dave seemed pretty insistent (and I think it's the right call) that they want Rebels to be its own thing.

If I had to bet on any TCW characters returning (on Rebels), I would put my money on Bane, Hondo and Ahsoka.

Today in Warsaw, we had a meeting organised by Star Wars Artistic Team - they focus mainly on activities for kids, such as drawing, playing with SW toys, etc. But what's more important, they're working closely with Disney/Lucasfilm and today they showed exclusively to us a new trailer for bonus content (they called it "season six"). There was a guy from Disney Poland at the meeting too.

First of all, they revealed that this season will be entitled "The Lost Missions" and will consist of ten episodes . They'll air it on Disney XD (at least in Poland). The subtitle "The Lost Missions" is an interesting one, especially given the previews that we've already seen, including Yoda requesting Anakin's help to get him out of the Jedi Temple so he can complete a mission.

Clicking the link in podjazd's post takes you to a post on the Bastion Polskich Fanow Star Wars website featuring a report from a recent Polish fan group meeting. According to Google Translate, a Disney Poland representative attended the meeting and "revealed that the sixth season will wear the subtitle 'The Lost Missions' and will consist of 10 episodes that will be shown on the Disney XD in 2014." Hit the link for more information, but have your translator ready. However, it's worth noting that Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo expressed skepticism about the ten-episode figure.[hr]

Since Pablo confirmed more than 10 I think we can safely confirm more than half a season of finished episodes (and we're also going to get unfinished ones).

If we get 12 CW episodes, does that mean only 10 Rebels epsidoes in 2014?

We're going to get Sifo Dyas, I just hope it's not this short arc (but a bigger one).

I think he's referring to Dooku (source).

[hr]IGN: In the Zygerrian trilogy, Dooku says his goal is the extermination of the Jedi. And we know Palpatine has that goal, but Dooku's a little more interesting because he was a Jedi. Do you think we might get a little bit more into what happened there and how he's gone to such an extreme if he was once a member of this group?

Filoni: We'll deal with Dooku a little more directly in the future. Maul being in play affects things to a certain extent as you can imagine, because he's there as a fallen apprentice, and Palpatine now has a current apprentice. It kind of makes for an interesting scenario. I find that Dooku's a really interesting character because I really don't know how many people get that he was a Jedi. I think it's so easy just to make the leap that he's a villain automatically. And when you really think about it and that he was Qui-Gon's master, that's a big bit of information there that's really interesting. I think that there's a lot you can do with Dooku, and with Corey Burton playing him, why wouldn't you want to do it, to be honest?[hr]

Dark Horse is going to adapt what would have been the final story arc for TCW, starting this May!

EDIT: From what LFL people are saying on Twitter, this is not an adaptation of what would have been the series finale, but rather an adaptation of Darth Maul's planned arc for the rest of the series. See here and here.

It seems like Disney is throwing away something that could have eventually made a good side project for TV or DVD. Hopefully, Dark Horse sticks to the script (without any changes).

I don't think Disney has any interest in Darth Maul...or honestly, anything that's already established and not part of the core mythos.

Look at Phase II and Phase III of marvel....we're getting very different characters away from Marvel's core.

Besides, they probably made Dark Horse pay a sh!t ton of $$ for the scripts.

Not quite, only that he views the last arc of the bonus content as the series finale. The actual finale planned for the series was never in production.

All I see is good news: Order 66 and Sifo-Dyas are not the same arc; Order 66 has 4 episodes, Clovis has 3 episodes, Yoda has 4 episodes, new arc with Jar Jar/Mace with 2 episodes.

This makes a total of 13 episodes without counting the Sifo-Dyas arc. Not bad at all...

EDIT: Starting to realize that the Syfo-Dyas plot could be part of "The Lost One" episode that belongs to Yoda's arc. Oh well...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure at this point that the Yoda arc and Sifo-Dyas arc are one and the same.

They are. IIRC, Yoda's arc was the last one being produced that we had heard of, and Tom Kane confirmed that it was being finished.

Daniel Logan has said he's done quite a bit of VO for TCW that we've never seen.
