I think you are misinformed. Everything created with the name "Star Wars" on it from here on out.... is Canon.
and they are evaluating past items to determine if they are canon- (In what form that info will be released to the public, i do not know)
This is what I'm referring to:
Quote:
"The spin-off movies, or we may come up with some other way to call those films, they exist within that vast universe that [George Lucas] created. ... There is no attempt being made to carry characters [from the standalone films] in and out of the saga episodes,"
This is Kathleen Kennedy talking about the the various products coming up.
This is the same type of talk that George used to describe the games, books, comics, movies, tv shows, and we all know that not all canon is created equal, and only what george finally graced with his stamp of approval he considered real, which created a lot of heartburn for star wars fandom in the past. Until they show signs of this changing, their new "canon decision" group or not, I find it hard to get excited for things that aren't just the sequel movies.
Tread, I understand where you are coming from, but there are great many stories out there that i would love to see on the big screen. I was completely over-joyed to see Aalya Secura in the movies....loved the Republic Series.
