Phenomenal episode! Great conclusion to this already fresh and engaging arc! Really delved into the pathetic, dour situation of the clones. And it was really satisfying to see someone [Krell] genuinely deranged and twisted by the war. What a bastard! "You've all been my pawns!"
This was a great episode to end the arc. I mean, the idea of a Jedi gone bad has been used a lot, but Krell is a different case. He seemed to turn because of the war and his superiority complex and how he was persuaded by Dooku.
It was cool to see the 212th Attack Battalion in their Phase 2 armor and how they accidentally fought each other and ended up working together. I really hope Waxer didn't die because for all we know, he could have just fainted. I wonder where Boil was? My guess is that he was working with Obi-wan on the other front. Sadly, I do not see future episode talking about the situation with Krell and the clones.
Just to clarify, he wasn't directly contacted by Dooku, he was just a Jedi who fell to the Dark Side, basically a Dark Jedi who's only allegiance is to himself.
Definately the best episode of this season ! The action was perfect and the plot just brilliant. The "let them kill themselves" strategy was also a surprise.
Sooo... Let's say it's been 4 weeks I'm about to comment on these boards about the many points deserving to be discussed ... but I end up quite speechless with the same one line conclusion that I'll write this time:

Never been a basher and do love the PT films but none has thrilled me as much as this arc did, creative, surprising, strongly and subtly handled. Filoni and co if you read this: most impressive WOW

That’s not true. During "Brain Invaders", Ahsoka referenced the events of "The Hidden Enemy" (as both stories concerned treacherous clones). This episode provides an explanation for the Clones’ loyalty in following Order 66. So, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t discussed again.
Despite the warnings of others, I never believed the Krell would turn out to be traitor. To me, that type of conclusion would be too hockey and unconvincing. However, the creative team managed to sell that idea in a convincing and compelling manner. I’m glad I was wrong.
One of the most impressive things about this arc was its dramatic progression. Each episode built upon the last until you get this one wherein solider is killing solider. Obviously, war can lead to both heroism and madness.
Rex’s speech at the end is particularly weighty. Based on the clones' conduct in this series, it’s obvious that there is a big difference between Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers. Last season, Lama Su conveyed the urgency of finding a replacement template for the clones. So, I’m going to assume that the ideology and origin of Stormtroopers will become a focus of the series at some point.

This. Saying in a future episode that "Rex once told me about a Jedi who had turned against the republic" is far from being called a discussion.
To be honest I'm very happy about the lack of heavy references. I imagine the series would quickly turn into a tedious soap opera if they'd tried to build new episodes on events and pieces information introduced earlier (in a greater degree than it's done now).
For example, I wouldn't like every future episode to mention that Darth Maul was resurrected and the fact he's actually Obi-Wan's estranged half-brother. After that arc finishes I want to forget about those things for the rest of the season (if not forever). So far this series still isn't X-men and thank God for it.
Fans aren't asking for every single thing to be referenced. The reason why I, and some others, want this is because the situation between Krell and clones is a big deal compared to past incidents. I personally would like some things to be referenced and talked about for the sake of continuity.
I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, but sometimes the series feels like the next and past episodes didn't happen, so they just move on as if some things didn't happen.
I understand what you mean, and if I trusted George and Filoni to have total control and make only good choices, I'd be all for it. But let's face it - this series is the work of a great many writers/directors and not every decision is that great. The consequences of allowing what you suggest would be (also) allowing the weaker arcs that potentially can have stronger repercussions to figure in all other episodes.
More than that, this would give the makers additional means to convince people to follow every single episode - so Clone Wars would get muddied with soap, season's long stories of relationships between characters, stories of the senate debating on one issue or the other.
I much prefer the current 20 minutes format of intense stand-alone stories - often adding to 3 or 4 episode long arcs.

You didn't have to be a prophet to know Krell was evil. Broken record here but if he wasn't, it's a major writing fail. It's never a cop out to resolve these sorts of plots in a way the audience expects: 99% of all TV or cinema ends the same way - the good guys win, the bad guys lose. You can tease alternate resolutions (good writing can inject legitimate uncertainty as to how things will play out), but in the end there are rules. Krell was evil from the minute he addressed Clones by their numbers.
His fighting style was appropriately aggressive and the final fight's resolution very satisfying. Easily one of the best arcs in the show's history. I want to see Anakin/Obi-wan's reaction to this whole Krell thing. I think this is too big an event NOT to be followed up in further episodes - a debriefing or something. The show's most important clone character just took part in a mutiny. A Jedi is dead with a blaster hole in his chest. This isn't some throwaway sequence. It has to be discussed at some point by the other major characters.
