A fan made video about han solo shown at Celebration V, kinda along the style as the clone wars. It won Best Animation. I figured you guys might be interested in watching it.

It's a pretty interesting amalgamation of the Star Wars Holiday Special animated/Clone Wars Micro Series/Clone Wars CGI aesthetic.

If it were up to me, I'd make the ships look more like the movies and not the Kenner toy versions, but other than that, it's great. Plus, the guy did a decent Harrison Ford impersonation.

Hopefully, this will turn into something we could look forward to once a week, but I doubt it. I think it would be great along side Clone Wars on Friday night. An hour of Star Wars once a week; 30 minutes of Clone Wars, followed by 30 minutes of OT era adventures. I think it's a great idea.

I think it would be a great idea having a series like this alongside clone wars, just a shame mr lucas will never green ligt it anytime soon. Hopefully one day he will.

Forget the live action series, make THIS the "bridge" series between episodes III and IV. The animation in this short is no where near ready for prime time, but I think a series based on Han and Chewie's adventures before ANH would be a no brainer for Lucasfilm at this point.

I totally agree. This was a hoot, although Solo's upper lip looks a little deformed here. But I guess that's no worse than Dooku's head looking like a horse's wang in the Clone Wars series.

I gotta be honest. I thought it was "okay" at best. It didn't really do anything for me.

Majority of fan films are crap - this one wasn't too bad at all.

I think the reactions are based more off the potential this series has rather than the actual short subject itself (at least that's where my enthusiasm stems).
