Urgh, this is one of the few episodes so far in the series that I did not enjoy at all. Bossk was a total let down because I was hoping for more. I was hoping that the season will end with something more epic. The best part of this episode was seeing Plo Koon, Ahsoka, and Hondo. Not to mention when Hondo looked at Boba and said something like "not one of mine is he?" The confrontation between Aurra and Plo Koon was nice and was a little intense.

What absolutely killed it for me was the ending. It ended so abrupt and I was expecting better dialogue between Mace and Foba.

Could not agree more. It was a bit of a clunker of an episode. Not epic at all and the ending fell absolutely flat. All the hype for the 'Boba Fett Trilogy' turned out exactly what I expected it to be - absolutely unnecessary and probably damaging to the mystique of the character.

Boba Fett the pussy? Boba Fett the apologist? Not a very worthwhile plot thread. It's the one tacky "fan appeasement" type of storyline I can think of in this series and it came with mixed results at best. Ignore the fans, stick to original plots with original characters and the Clone Wars will stay strong.

"glennfett" pointed out above the Season Three Preview where Ahsoka has Revenge Of The Sith-style dreams of the future. There are glimpses of what appears to be a Mandalorian, Cad Bane, and everyone's favorite flamboyant Hutt.

While waiting for the HD torrent to finish - I read some of the mixed reviews and therefore my expectations were lowered. I enjoyed the episode even though disagreeing with the decision to make Boba Clone Wars like Anakin Phantom Menace. While I can swallow Aurra Sing - who we can assume was fucking Jango in addition to Honoka - as Boba's surrogate mother - Bossk was an unnecessary character, basically a not-so-hidden easter egg.

Hopefully this episode is a cliffhanger - with Aurra somehow surviving and freeing Young Fett, in addition to salvaging Slave I. Speaking of which, Hasbro has basically come out and said that a new Slave I Clone Wars will be coming out later this year. Given the scale from these past episodes it could be BMF-sized. :bouncin:

ps: Salacious Crumbs cockfighting out of nowhere!

Hey am I the only one that liked this episode more than the other two ? I think Bobba shouldn't be as badass as people want him to be. I actually liked the fact that he wants to be like other bounty hunters but yet he lacks the skills or the guts for that. If anything, the lighting was extremely well-done and set off a perfect mood. The "well" in Coruscant was awesome. The final scenes, especially with Slave I were almost beautifu. Can't wait to see the new season though !

What a superb conclusion to season two. So many great things in this episode.

Aurra Sing is certainly one bad bitch, as she should be. Absolutely loved the lower levels of Coruscant

I think they're portraying young Boba perfectly. His arc should be far more interesting as the series progresses and lay the foundation, for the LATV series. Also, it would be difficult for him, to pull the trigger and shoot a Clone in the face - the same face as his father. Seeing him as a cold blooded killer right from the onset, wouldn't work for me - it needs to be a gradual thing.

Thanks to everyone who has done all the hard work, recording, uploading episodes and sharing them with us fans worldwide. All this work is greatly appreciated, much respect to the people, who make it all happen here!

A new toy rumor list showed up last week. It appears that an EU Jedi will be making his CW debt next year: • Quinlan Vos.

This past week Filoni took questions during a webcast at another site (:gb2tfn:). I have megauploaded the show if you don’t want to go through iTunes.

Apparently, Nika Futterman, the voice actress for Asajj Ventress stated that there will be a three part arc for her character next year. Overall, Dave cautions viewers not to overthink the season three promo. And, while he didn't give out specific information, he did make a non-confirmation confirmation about another group of EU characters showing up next season: • The Republic Commandos.

If you are a fan of the show, the interview is pretty interesting. Filoni addresses the role of the show in the overall cannon. In general, he tries to get Lucas to drive the show’s story in order to make it authentic. In a non-critical way, he admits that the show would probably be very different if he was running it by himself.

He also explains how the 22 minute time constraint caused Lethal Trackdown to become a flawed episode (sorry, Bossk and Boba). Jamie King, Ashley Eckstein, and James Arnold-Taylor also take questions. Filoni leaves after an hour.

As an added bonus, you can hear E_CHU_TA! call in and ask a nerdy question at the 16:30 mark.

R7-A7 is Ahsoka's driod.

There is no information on the other one. It may be Obi-wan's droid R4-P17.

I have to say, I was a little underwhelmed when looking at Season 2 as a whole. I saw very little character development over the "big-picture" run of the season. It felt more like "monster of the week" episodes, or the occasional "hey look, bounty hunters!" type of episodes.

The season 3 preview does seem to hint at more character development and advancement. I feel like Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan are in the exact same emotional place they were in at the end of season 2 as they were at the end of season 1.

I do enjoy the show, but I don't think, when taken as a whole, season 2 matched season 1.

Here is some cool realistic-style Clone Wars artwork from a calendar at the DK publishing website:

I think the artist is Chris Trevas.
