no digital yoda in the HD version of episode I

sky movies in the uk are just now showing the TPM in high defintion. its the dvd version of the movie but yoda is still the puppet version so no change there. any other changes to look for? the US version in october may well be different as we dont get the OT in high defintion until later in the year.

btw it looks stunning still a bit of edge enhancement though it obviously doesnt match the sumptiousness of ep2+3 in terms of visual quality.

I doubt there will be any changes to the film for the HD presentations. Additions or enhancements, anyway. Those will wait for a future home video release.

I'm curious, was there any color enhancement compared to the DVD version? I was always more bothered by the washed out colors then the edge enhancement.

colours were stunning, it just doesnt look as good as 2+3 as they were shot digitally though thinking about it i did put the colour setting up a notch and adjust the colour temperature so it might have been as washed out as the dvd, nothing worth worrying about though it looked amazing just could have been mastered better imho

Thought I'd bump this up today with some new stuff since it is the 10th Anniversary of The Phantom Menace and because I just got a new copy of Episode I 1080p HD.
