Given the Anakin and Ahsoka presence with R2D2 as the macguffin of this arc, I wasn't expecting much. However I enjoyed the episode, although critics of the series will be sure to mention the Anakin and Ahsoka banter, the techno score, and the flatuence.

Highlights of the show is the now ubiquotious hide-behind-the-asteroid shot (featuring AT-TE's), the Revenge of the Sith-esque Grievous Dukes of Hazzard-style entry into his ship, Souless-One, and the Empire Strikes Back-style ending sequence.

The bounty hunter Bossk-species, Trandoshan Scavenger was awesome along with his IG-88 Assassin cronies. One interesting thing to note is according to some expanded universe shit, the smell Ahsoka mentioned was rotting flesh. Aboard their ships, the Bossk species often dismembered their victims and skinned their arch-enemies - the Wookiees. Instead of showing body parts, which probably would be too grueome, a dismembered droid torso was shown.

What's up with the use of Wojciech Kilar's "Vampire Hunters" from the Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack (see link below)? It worked well during the asteroid sequence. However, I was surprised to hear it in a Sar Wars show.

I thought it was a very solid episode.

The techno music is kind of irritating, but it's still important to note it's a kid's show. Even still, the music should be far better than it is.

Another episode I really liked.

Interesting that Rob Colman directed. The characters seemed to be a lot more natural. anyone else pick up on that?

I found that weird, considering this was the first episode produced after the ones that were stitched together into the movie. Then again, Rob Coleman directed this one.
